Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Balaton

We spent a wonderful week in the little house, which is absolutely baby and dog friendly. We got everything we needed for the everyday life of a one-year-old baby (travel bed, high chair, baby bath, plastic bowls and glasses) and the kitchen is super well equipped. The neighborhood is beautiful, I can only recommend it!

Thank you, it was very nice to see something traditional and typical for Hungary. There is beautiful nature around it and Eger is also only 30 min away.

We had a wonderful holiday at Szilvia's place. The house was easy to find. It is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood and has a lovely view of the hill. I really enjoyed sitting on the terrace having a coffee or glass of wine. The house had everything we needed for our stay, everything looked as expected and as advertised. Everything was clean and tidy. Szilvia was very friendly, sympathetic and caring. She prepared a list of recommendations of things to do and places to go in the surrounding area which was very nice and helpful. We visited a few places she recommended and were delighted. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time at Balaton. I hope to come back here one day!

we had so much fun, my family visited Balaton the first time. the cottage was lovely and we managed to use the fireplace too. no issues at all, highly recommend this place! we are planning to come back in the summer x

we had a great time. the flat was amazing! we went down with my friends to celebrate my birthday and we had a fantastic time. The kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are fantastic and super clean and the whole place looked much better in person than on the pictures. Also, there was a grill outside we used that was great! and opportunity for fire and bogracs! we definitely will be back !

This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful setting. I wish we could have spent more days on vacation there!

We spent an extended weekend here and were more than satisfied all around. The villa is even more impressive in real life and exudes so much homeliness that you don't want to leave at all. The garden is uniquely beautiful. If you are looking for an oasis with lots of birdsong, nature and a place to stay with a little something, this is the place to be. Our highlight: enjoy the sunset on the roof of the wine cellar every evening! We will be back.

The villa is beautiful and very well equipped. It is in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, and is perfect for a family reunion and relaxation if you want to be away from the craziness of the city. The house is about 30 minutes away from Budapest by car, and 50 minutes away by public transportation. The house is super clean, functional, comfortable, and offers a stunning view to the surrounding Buda hills. Betty, the owner, and host of the house, is a super nice, welcoming, and friendly lady. She came to greet us at the check-in in person, showed us around, and explained everything we needed to know. We had some special needs at the check-in, and check-out, and she was very understanding, and super flexible both times. We enjoyed the heated pool, the sauna, the hot tub, and the gym every day during our stay. All of them were super clean and very well maintained. We liked everything about the villa. We will definitely come back here whenever we will visit Budapest. Thank you, Betty!

We were with dachshunds, we had a good time. They found the hole in the fence once and ran over, but luckily we were able to call them back.

Beautiful house, very spacious (outside and inside), perfect communication with Szabolcs. We particularly enjoyed the good location. From the house you can quickly walk to the lake (with playground) and to nice places. The property is also a great start point for cycling.

The house and Bence were wonderful, unfortunately an unexpected illness shortened the rest, which the host had endless empathy for. We'll be back.

We had a very nice holiday as a family with 2 small children in this cottage. The garden is very nice with a large meadow and the 2 hammocks. The house is neat and very nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable. However, the stairs were a bit dangerous for us with 2 small children. We enjoyed the area very much. There are really many nice restaurants and cafes in the area. And these are very empty in the preseason...great. The road to the house is a bit adventurous, especially if you have a big car like us.

So so so lovely!!! All the details of this airbnb warmed my heart - from the slippers they provide, to the coffee and tea station offerings, to the badminton set and essential oils for the sauna - not to mention the champagne. The most relaxing spot. We found several hiking trails directly from the house. Stunning terrain. The view from the main bedroom - and the nice bed - how can you not sleep well and relax! The masseuse the host recommended was phenomenal. Great host. Also there’s a lovely castle nearby that starts with a C with a DELICIOUS restaurant down the road. Would 1000% recommend!

If I could give a higher rating I would definitely do that. Peaceful, beautiful landscapes, direct access to water and dog friendly. Our dog felt immediately like at home. An outstanding property! Zoltan is an outstanding host; warm, approachable, highly responsive and super helpful. The apartment is a real gem. It’s imaginatively designed and extremely well appointed including luxury furniture. The air con works and works really well! In bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. A squirrel lives in the pine tree next to the terrace, we really appreciated the large trees in the garden for not being cut, the view from any of the terraces is amazing. Host responds quickly, proactive, recommended great cafes and restaurants in the area. The kitty is cute and so sweet! We had a great time.
