Holiday rentals with a pool in Avon

We enjoyed the location, walked outside and we were on the beach with the fishing pier in sight. Grocery store just a 2-3 minute drive, bait/tackle shop about 5 minutes away. Everything was convenient. The place was spacious, nicely decorated, plenty of counter space in the kitchen for preparation and appliances. Seaside Vacations was very responsive to our needs, sent an employee over within a day or two to address the problem with grills that were not cleaned before our arrival, replaced one grill with a new one and cleaned the other one. It was wonderful to have a place with an elevator given the age of most of us. The only negative about the house is the lack of grab bars in the bathrooms for getting in and out of the tub or shower. Only one bathroom has a walk-in shower, the others are tubs. Senior citizens need to feel safe and be safe especially when negotiating a tub. But, overall it was a wonderful place to vacation, enjoyed it very much, would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Amazing place to stay in OBX! Highly recommend! Beautiful home with lovely decor. Clean home and grounds. Private and so peaceful. Pool so refreshing, hot tub a great bonus. Beds are really comfortable, lots of extra pillows too. kitchen fully stocked with whatever you could need to cook or make drinks (appliances and dishware, etc.) Garage full of nice extras of bicycles, kayaks, life vests and beach fun playing in the sand for the little ones. outdoor shower to get the sand off too. Some nice restaurants, convenience stores all very close by. 15 mins to Hatteras, 40 mins to Nags Head. Connie is a wonderful host, clear instructions, very helpful and gracious. I highly recommend, we stayed for our annual family vacay, everyone loved it, house so nice. Connie is a star! We can't say enough good things about her home, just go and see for yourself!

Ryan and Alli's vacation rental was everything we could have asked for! They were very friendly and extremely fast with their communication. We loved the deck space outside and enjoyed all the light that came in. The location is walking distance from the beach, or you can drive over to the Salvo Day Use Area or Watermen's Bar & Grill for beautiful sunset views on the sound. We also loved the acai place and Waves Deli right down the street. There is a fenced-in back yard which made it really nice for our dog. We cooked several times and had everything we needed in the kitchen. One thing to keep in mind is that this is on the third floor so you need to be prepared to take the stairs a lot. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it seemed really nice.

Our family of 4+ our dog had a great time. The place is cozy and comfortable in a great quiet little beach neighborhood. About a block from the pool, which was clean and quiet and a block from the beach which we had all to ourselves at times. Will definitely return next year.

Wonderful home. The house was very clean when we arrived and well organized. Easy walk to the beach and location is perfect if you want a peaceful getaway with your family. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make meals. Plenty of towels, wash clothes and sheets provided. The pool and hot tub were a great addition for even more family fun! The host had awesome communication when needed. Definitely recommend this home.

What a wonderful place to stay! All around such a great spot for some time at the beach! Everything is exactly as described. With the incredibly easy walk to the beach, seriously breathtaking views all around, convenient location to restaurants/shops and great communication from the host, I couldn’t recommend this place more! You won’t regret booking here. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed for our first trip to the OBX. Unit exceeded our expectations from the photos. The two bedroom suites are on opposite sides of the unit which our two boys (10 & 17) loved. Very clean and comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were super comfortable! Only slight critique was a clump of hair in the drain in the king bathroom tub and the shower curtain looked moldy all along the bottom. For our active family there wasn’t too much for us to do in the immediate area other than water sports, which they tired of quickly. So we spent quite a bit of time driving to other towns. But, that was partly our fault for not doing enough research. If you’re looking for fishing, kite boarding, or just a quiet escape, this place definitely fits the bill!

I got the place for my parent’s anniversary and they had the best time! They loved staying at this location and were able to check in easily. It was especially good for my mom who has some issues getting around. The location is easily accessible for people who might have handicap issues. Overall this place was amazing and my parents are planning on staying there again in the future!

Very communicative, bare bones, just as advertised. The home was pristinely clean. The views were beautiful, gorgeous sound views from the balcony. The beach is just a short walk away and the pier is a 5 minute drive. Perfect location in Avon & Mike is super friendly! Be mindful that you will have to bring bath towels, but other necessities were supplied by the cleaners and lasted us through a full week. This was transparently advertised though. The living room is not quite as comfortable as we would’ve liked, but that’s just our preference. The rest of the house was very comfortable and we were pleased with the furnishing. The space is clearly well taken care of. Avon overall is a wonderful place to visit. The locals were probably the most friendly we’ve experienced in the OBX. The area is very remote and you can see the stars and even have a bonfire on the beach. Plenty of free parking and easy public beach access. Really good restaurants too. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful one night stay! We would have booked a longer stay had we planned better-next time! Cozy room, perfectly furnished, comfortable bed and terrific surroundings. We’d definitely stay again! Thanks for a memorable 27th anniversary getaway!

Where do I start… Absolutely great views, quiet neighbors, and great places to eat! To top all that off is how clean and beautifully decorated the condo was. Very relaxing, everything we needed was there, not cluttered, and communication was great! What more could you ask for!

This place was awesome, and just as described. The location is sublime! As close to the beach as you can get. We loved the large deck facing the ocean. Comfortable beds and furniture and well-equipped kitchen with new pots and pans and knives. Very bright and cheery. Great stay all the way around!
