Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Avon

We enjoyed the location, walked outside and we were on the beach with the fishing pier in sight. Grocery store just a 2-3 minute drive, bait/tackle shop about 5 minutes away. Everything was convenient. The place was spacious, nicely decorated, plenty of counter space in the kitchen for preparation and appliances. Seaside Vacations was very responsive to our needs, sent an employee over within a day or two to address the problem with grills that were not cleaned before our arrival, replaced one grill with a new one and cleaned the other one. It was wonderful to have a place with an elevator given the age of most of us. The only negative about the house is the lack of grab bars in the bathrooms for getting in and out of the tub or shower. Only one bathroom has a walk-in shower, the others are tubs. Senior citizens need to feel safe and be safe especially when negotiating a tub. But, overall it was a wonderful place to vacation, enjoyed it very much, would stay there again.

We had a great stay in Rodanthe! Beautiful home, with plenty of space for our party of 9. The home had a path directly to the beach and the hot tub was a hit during the evenings! The kitchen had all the items we needed for cooking our meals, the dishwasher was a nice bonus! Could not of had a better place to stay for our Memorial Day get away!

absolutely loved staying at Elissa’s place! it was perfect for my 26th birthday lots of restaurants close by & the beach as well. quite, and peaceful neighborhood! perfect for a vacation. Elissa was very responsive whenever i had a question or concern. thank you so much! 10/10 recommend staying here!

We had such a great stay at the Shore Shack! It was the perfect little escape—super cozy, clean, and well thought out. One of the best parts was how pet-friendly it was. The fully fenced-in yard was a huge plus for our pup, and it made relaxing so much easier knowing he could safely roam around. The hot tub was amazing after a long day, and the space felt really peaceful and private. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming spot. Highly recommend for a quick getaway—especially if you’re bringing your dog along!

This place was SO fabulous! The decor, kitchen amenities (VERY well stocked), all the glasses, barware, utensils, etc., were beautiful and made our experience that much more enjoyable. The outside furniture was wonderful, too. Hot tub was easy to get going and wonderful views! Neighborhood was excellent for taking long walks/runs. Loved all the porches, the space, the well-appointed rooms. So many options for our large group of six sisters to spread out or be together. We like to cook and the kitchen was fabulous, large pantry, lots of beautiful dishes, etc. There is also lots of wonderful appliances - glass blender, toaster, etc. Much appreciated. We may come back if we can all agree (but that's hard with a group of six of us!). So much to love here!

Peaceful and quiet area, close enough to beach but far enough away to feel like your on your own island. Cute little spot with beautiful surroundings. Loved sitting on the front porch with my coffee watching the bunnies and squirrels run around while looking over to the bay. Spices to cook with were great too and even a tooth brush and paste for one of the littles that forgot theirs😊 would come back again for sure

My family and I really enjoyed our stay: enjoying the views from the decks, taking turns napping in the hammock, and relaxing in the hot tub. Having the footbridge right next to the house was great for easy access to the beach and nearby shops. The turtles and geese in the canal were endless entertainment. We also loved the lift… which my husband discovered as I hauled several bags up the stairs. My husband and son had fun using the boogie boards, too. It would have been nice to have some of the basics available: coffee filters, dish pods, more than one spare trash bag, but overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would return. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful family vacation!

Perfect in every way! We can't say enough about Beverly & their wonderful beach house! We felt right at home immediately. The house is beautiful, clean & extremely well stocked. Right on the beach & also very close to the sound also. The neighborhood is peaceful & the street is quiet. The house also has really nice decking on every level & is gated so it's very safe for the K9 kids & would be for human kids also:) The freight elevator makes bringing supplies, groceries & luggage very convenient. Beverly & Frank definitely thought of everything and are very friendly, gracious, generous & responsive hosts. We can't think of anything to make it better. We've been coming to OBX for years & this is definitely our favorite place. My husband and I and our fur babies had an amazing time & very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back next year. Look no further than Beverly's place! There can't be anything better:)
