Clean, good location, few people so shared bathroom and kitchen was still very private.

It's an old, tiny, cosy, friendly hostel for backpacker, with and lovely swimmpool! thanks for welcome me for few days.

Awesome Stay in Perth! Stayed at this backpackers and loved it! Super clean, great vibe, and the location couldn’t be better — walking distance to everything you need. The staff were really friendly and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfy, convenient place to stay

My previous experience of youth hostels (in general) has been a bit rough & left a little to be desired… Thankfully, those grim days were over the moment we stepped into YHA in the Rocks. The communal areas were clean, orderly & filled with light. Our room was clean, fresh, surprisingly spacious and really quiet (given the motorway outside the building & local bars). The rooftop bar was a peaceful escape serving reasonably priced booze and food. Great location with restaurants, bars, transport, and the harbour nearby. Would 100% stay here again next time we visit Sydney.

Location was amazing and the view from the rooftop bar was incredible. We watched the Vivid fireworks and lights with a talented musician playing. Great offers on drinks too. Friendly, courteous and approachable staff. Stayed with young children, portacot was provided and the private room was just like a hotel room. It seemed brand new and was so clean. Could not hear noise from any other guests. Continental breakfast was good value and set us up for a day of exploring. Would highly recommend and would be keen to go back when next in Sydney!

This place! It is so apparent that the owners love what they do, as there is so much care put into every detail. Rooms are cleaned so well between each guest, rules are respectfully given without being obnoxious, and they are followed by guests, which means the kitchen, dishes, bathrooms, common areas are kept clean, roommates are generally quiet and respectful, and the peaceful, tropical setting is a perfect place to just chill. Highly recommend staying here!

friendliest place I've stayed ever! awesome old pub with memorabilia I can remember my Nanna and pop having so was super cool to see that stuff! clean & comfortable room and amenities. cheers guys 😁

the place was close to city centre safe neighbourhood, close to public transport and friendly staff. the only bad experience I had is I went out after 10 pm and I got back at 1: 00 am my phone battery died and I couldn't get in to the hostel because the use app TTLOCKER you open all the doors with your phone but unfortunately my phone battery was died so I had to stay outside for long time until someone coming back from night clubs to let me go in to the building but I could not get inside my dorms as my phone battery dead so I had to knock the door nobody opened for me and I kept knocking for long time and hard knocking until I woke up someone to open the door for me so finally I made it in to my dorm thanks to indian guy. Other than that the place was good.

Stayed for a week while doing a work placement. Great deal, good value for money. Beautiful, decorated private rooms. Clean and simple hostel with modern facilities. The room itself could have been cleaner, but it was adequate. Much better than staying in a motel!

The accommodation was superb, Very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. situated on a quiet street right by the river i couldn't have asked for better. the amenities in the house were great and the rooms were very comfortable. The host was very responsive to any questions or queries I had wich was a bonus. I definitely highly recommend this accommodation if your looking for somewhere pleasant to stay.
