Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Arès

Had a great stay ay Pollux's place. Very private and quite secluded. The accommodation itself is located about 200 meters along a private track off of one of the main roads leading out of Le Porge - it is a little difficult to spot the turning from the main road. The main road itself has no pavements, so if you're not driving, you have to access the town via a paved cycle track through the woods to the side of the property. The nearest boulangerie is around 3km along this track, so it's a fair (although very pleasant) walk to get croissants for breakfast! The accommodation itself is very well equipped with lots of outdoor furniture, BBQ and everything you need for preparing and cooking meals including a lovely big fridge/freezer. It had a parking space right in front of the property which is very secure as it has a large sliding access gate. Very pleasant and attentive hosts too.

Beautiful, lovingly furnished holiday cottage – highly recommended! We felt completely comfortable at Agnés. The cottage is tasteful, clean and furnished with love. Agnès was very friendly, helpful and always available. The small garden was a pleasure for us and our dog, who felt very comfortable there. The brick barbecue was a highlight, which we gladly used. We were able to safely park our car and bicycles on the property. The surroundings are wonderful: beautiful walking paths, great fish and oyster restaurants, many excursion possibilities, - all easily accessible. The area has great bike paths. Everything was as described in the ad. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back. Merci, dear Agnés!

We had a great week at this home in Ares. We had a very nice and friendly welcome. We visited the house together and were able to have all the helpful directions. We had very good exchanges together thanks to the great kindness of the hosts. An environmental point of view and sightseeing, we just had a great time. The area is beautiful and what about oysters… to fall! In particular the numbers 4 of the Pasquet d 'Ares house. In short, the vacation we were looking forward to and we were delighted. Very good stay in this small house where all the spaces are optimized. It feels like home. Bed linen possible on request, it's very convenient and everything is very clean. Quitterez is very responsive to responses and everything is very clear for arrival and departure. Bikes are kindly made available for the whole family! I highly recommend this place

The accommodation is faithful to the photos, the location is great, the residence is quiet, even on a 3-day weekend. Perfect instructions for finding the accommodation. We had a wonderful stay, we hope to be able to come back!

Simple and friendly welcome by the owner, Sébastien recommended places to see and was very responsive when we needed information by message, a very clean and quiet accommodation, without any noise, close to Cap Ferret, enough to relax during a long weekend as a couple, it was great!

Adored the property and the attention to every detail..its extremely comfortable both inside and out. The area is extremely peaceful and a lovely walk across the park (with lift) to reach town centre/beach and ferry for Cap Ferret. Plenty of local restaurants and lovely daily market to buy fresh food. Parc ornithologique is a lovely area to visit and Dunes are astonishing..despite being busy every day there was plenty of relaxation. Merci beaucoup.

Great week stay. Everything you need at hand. Superb location. Nice mix of restaurants/bakeries on your doorstep. Many adventures to have in and around the Bay. A week of lazy beach days, exploring and enjoying local food and wine. Perfect 👌🏻 thank you Patrick for your warm welcome 🤗

Perfect apartment for 1 family with 2 children or 3 adults We would have really felt at home, everything was there. Beautiful independent terrace visually and with the hot tub. The person dedicated to reception/checkout is responsive and very nice. If I have a chance, I'll pick it up right away Don't hesitate!!!

Great stay. The apartment is ideal for a couple, with a child. The bedding is comfortable, there is almost everything to spend a beautiful week. Relaxing bathroom, small balcony perfect for dining. Private parking space but I admit we were lucky that the building is almost deserted, access to the square with a large car can be complicated. The location is ideal, about 20 minutes walk from the center We are starting to host next year's vacation and have already found our Airbnb Check-out is autonomous, after returning the apartment as we arrived: perfect!

Very pleasant stay, everything is within walking distance which is a big asset for this accommodation, even the bike paths are 50 m away. The market is Friday in the city center and the market halls are open in the mornings so very convenient. Very welcoming and lively town. I would highly recommend it

Very well located apartment (on the beach and close to the city center by bike), well arranged and well equipped. We were able to enjoy the balcony which is nice (and perfectly oriented to enjoy the sunset). The parking space and bicycles are very nice. Our host was very responsive and we were greeted by his parents who were charming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hyper-functional apartment with breathtaking views of the Arcachon basin. Nicolas was very welcoming, available, with a lot of information about the places to see around the basin and a lot of humor. I recommend this apartment to those who want to enjoy the Arcachon basin.

The place is great. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings very quiet. We were in the accommodation out of season and had virtually no neighbors! Gaëlle is a great host who takes care of all occasions directly and always responds quickly. The sea is within a few minutes' drive. The lake (Plage du Moutchic) is also just a few minutes away by car. The apartment has everything you need and is great for a longer stay. If you want to go to Bordeaux for a day, you can easily walk to the Marie Curie stop. The complex where the apartment is located is well maintained and even has a pool. Parking is available right outside the door. We had a very nice stay and highly recommend the apartment.
