It was a great stay! I went with my wife to Chikmagalur. The place was quite affordable, and the best part was its location. The famous Town Canteen is just 700 meters away, the bus stand is around 2.5 km, and all major sightseeing routes pass nearby. The house is right on the highway, with a beautiful temple nearby. There's enough space on the terrace, and we had a balcony too. Car parking isn't available, but there's parking space for bikes. The owner is super friendly and supportive — always smiling and ready to help. The room was small and cozy, but very clean. It’s perfect for couples and comes at a reasonable price. Just loved it!

I had a wonderful 4-day long stay at Mr.Rudresh's Vintage Homestay. The rooms are very lovely and very spacious, with clean bathrooms and quick water heating applications for cold weather conditions. The veranda is incredibly large and perfect for a sip of tea on a cold rainy day. If you have kids, you could not ask for a better place for them to have fun. Considering the tucked in location this homestay sits in, about 26 km into the hills, I would recommend this place be travelled to by car and during drier seasons. Nevertheless, it was a unique and truly satisfying experience. The food was delicious and fulfilling and the host and his family were very kind and hospitable towards their guests. Good appartment, lots of parking space available opposite the apartment. just one problem is the cutlery to prepare something is very limited but that's adjustable... overall nice place to stay
