Apartment holiday rentals in Amherst

We had a calm and super quiet overnight in Amherst (even saw a fox in the neighborhood)— Eva was very responsive and even alerted me when our car’s lights were still on! I will also say that each room has an individual heater and needs to be turned on during winter when it can be quite chilly. Otherwise, the place is as described.

This first floor apartment is wonderful- homey, well equipped, on a quiet friendly street with lots of greenery, peaceful and easy. Parking was a breeze in a well marked space and the location is convenient to all things in and around Easthampton and Northampton, with good walking destinations, restaurants, and more. Rocky has many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was so well outfitted, I was sorry I didn't stay longer to do some cooking there!

What a gem in Northampton! Walkable to town, beautifully renovated, and spotless. Andrew and Agnes were wonderful and responsive hosts, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing stay at Richards. It is like the photographs and so much more. Richard was friendly and helpful and enjoyed sharing his home, sculptures and gardens with others. The apartment is beautiful and peaceful and a great getaway. He has put so much love and energy into his home and property and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy it also. I look forward to returning. A nice escape into the country side of western mass but still close to so many adorable small towns, farms, Northampton and fun little back roads.!!!

shelburne Falls is an adorable town, and this Airbnb has a small table with 3 chairs on a back porch that looks out on the river and bridge— very nice . Cute apartment over the the owner’s store and perfect location to walk around town . crystal was a great host…. proactive before our arrival responsive

I was in Springfield for my son’s college graduation and needed a place to stay on short notice. We ended up booking this home last minute, and I’m so glad we did. The house was exactly as described in the listin; clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay, even if it was a short one. We were only there for about 11 hours, but it was absolutely worth it. The host was accurate in their description, and everything matched the photos perfectly. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely book this place without hesitation.

I was greeted with apple cider donuts waiting for me on arrival, a thoughtful touch on entering this lovely home. It was a quiet and peaceful location, convenient to downtown Amherst. Everything went smoothly and the beds were quite comfortable. I would stay here again!

Deborah was the perfect host! Always responsive and super friendly. The place was beautiful with an absolutely gorgeous view. We got to see some stunning sunrises (not normally our thing, but we had to be up early and that more than made up for it). There were lots of thoughtful touches like charging cables for all types of phones on both sides of the bed - not always easy to handle on travel, so this was most welcome The bed linens were wonderfully soft and warm, made for delightful sleep. Additionally when I caused problems with their plumbing, she was super chill and nice about it - I'm still so very sorry for that, Deborah! Thank you for an absolutely delightful stay!

Lucienne’s place was very comfortable. There was lots of little touches like plants, candles, blankets, drinks in the fridge to make it very cosy. Highly recommend anyone to stay there.

We had a fantastic stay at Erica's with our 2 month old. Erica provided a crib, and it was safe for infant sleeping. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, and ended up cooking a full dinner for local friends one night. The kitchen had all the basics that we needed. It was a short trip so we didn't have much time to explore the property, but it looked beautiful and we enjoyed hearing the frogs at night and birds during the day. The apartment is HUGE, and we found it very comfortable. It'll be our go-to for future visits in the area!

What a treat it was to stay at Jacqueline's place – a former button factory! Everything about this place is thoughtful, from the host to the furnishings. It's clear that a lot of consideration has gone into this Airbnb. Jacqueline was kind and communicative without being obtrusive, and she was quick to respond. We had no issues that she needed to respond to though! Everything went perfectly smoothly. The apartment was absolutely pristine, perhaps the cleanest rental I have ever encountered. We were so impressed that this rental had everything one needs to be cozy and live (and cook) comfortably, but it is not cluttered or overdone. Also, the location (and free parking) can't be beat! Finally, what could be a nightmare check-in process with other hosts was easy, clear, and smooth thanks to the instructions Jacqueline sends prior to renting. Again, there were absolutely no issues with anything, and we would rent this place again in a heartbeat (and wish to live in it permanently)!

Great apartment. I wish I could rent it for the whole year! Great location. Walked to NoHo Brewery on Sunday had a great lunch and went back for dinner and drinks. The space was clean and it had everything I needed to make dinner and get a restful sleep. I also worked from home one of the days. The WiFi was reliable and fast. It looks and feels brand new. Not sure how long you have been utilizing the space as a short term rental but I felt like I may have been your first guest. Great job and hats off to your cleaning crew. Thanks so much Devon. ML

It's not a private space with a door that locks behind you, but it felt pretty private up on the top floor of that huge old house. The main room is enormous, with plenty of open space if you wanted to do yoga or whatever. The bedrooms are also a good size, and there was lots of space for my dog. It took a moment to get use to not having a sink in the "kitchen" area, but the bathroom sink is kitchen sink sized, and had everything you'd need to clean up breakfast dishes. All in all it was a good value for a place that was virtually private and had 2 bedrooms, AND allowed me to bring my dog.

Niels' guest suite was probably the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It was the perfect base for our family during our twins' UMass graduation weekend. It was close to campus, but felt like a world apart when we needed a break from our action-packed weekend. I was just telling a co-worker about our stay and summed it up as "the convenience of an Airbnb with all the amenities of a high-end hotel." Everything was comfortable, clean and calming. As others have mentioned, the little touches, like plenty of coffee, fresh flowers and snack foods made it feel so welcoming. Niels was extremely accommodating to our changing needs, as our party changed in both size and make-up over time. He checked in frequently and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property and host!

Melissa and Geoff's place is in beautiful surroundings and well within a short drive to excellent restaurants, museums and outdoor activities. We were there during an especially rainy and cool period, but the apartment kept us toasty and warm after a day of dodging the raindrops. The king size bed was lovely and a white machine lulled us to sleep. The deck attached to the house was wonderful and when the weather looked as if the blue skies were here to stay, Melissa asked if we wanted dry cushions for the chairs- just a lovely thought. The gardens were just beginning to bloom and the property is spotless. We will definitely return to Sweet Dreams; the apartment was a pleasure to be in. Andrea and Ray

We had a great stay at Nasuta Hills! Dan was always responsive and the 10 minute drive to the restaurants and stores in Brattleboro was very convenient. Would definitely come back again!

Sandra's place is private, clean, and well-appointed. We hardly had any problem finding this place, and it is fairly close to all necessary amenities - highways, grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. You need a car to have this place as a base, but all amenities are within 5-10 minute ride of this place. The best thing about this apartment is it is WELL FURNISHED. Pretty much what we need for a comfortable stay, it had. Be it comfortable bed(s) with pillows & comforters, clean bathroom with fresh towels & toiletries, a really well-equipped kitchen & pantry. We enjoyed the space. Sandra is also very responsive and took care of any of our requests immediately. Thank you, Sandra. A wonderful place, and great place for families! Viji & Kumaran

Helen’s place was clean, had plenty of space for our group, and the hot tub was great for relaxing as well.

Falcon's Nest was a fabulous place to stay in the area - everything there was clean and spotless, a truly homey feeling right from the start. The house itself is stylishly done - starting from architectural elements and through small details around the house. The grounds outside are breathtaking - there's an awesome hot tub, grill, fire pits, and a lake - beautiful nature all around. Location is very convenient to all landmark sights in the area and a variety of hiking trails. Johny and Kate were incredibly accommodating - quickly responding to all our questions and providing valuable recommendations. Overall, this was a great experience that exceeded our expectations!

We needed a place to stay a couple days for Amherst graduation access, and this worked out perfectly. It was a few minutes from campus, town, and easy to find. Comfy bed and linens, coffee, quality furniture, and squeaky clean. Even though it's connected to the main house, we didn't have any contact with, or hear our host for the weekend. It's a perfect place for a small group, low-key family stay.
