This place is perfect for a quiet romantic week, month, year away. The place is just perfectly decorated and clean. The pillows and bed linen was exquisite. It will be hard to find a better place than here for our next holiday.

The chalet is unique, we needed somewhere that was close to Utilita arena but also was in quiet surroundings, this really fitted the bill. Well supplied with tea,coffee,milk,chocolate croissants,cereals which was unexpected and a great personal touch. The bed was comfortable, clean linen, supplied towels. The shower is fantastic hot and powerful. Great outside space great for the short break we were on. 5 stars all the way from us.

Sandra and Chris the hosts were very welcoming. The gardens were amazing, with a huge variety of flowers, shrubs, trees and ferns and large enough for a good dog walk. They were happy for us to have free run of the gardens for walking or sitting. The holiday home has only been converted from a large garage in the last 2 years. So everything feels new and pristine. It has been converted to a high standard with good quality doors, windows, stairs, bathroom, kitchen etc. I would say no expense spared. The only slight drawback with the location is that it is next to a main road, with some traffic noise from time to time. However, one doesn't really notice this much after a while and all the positives about the place and the friendly hosts outweighs this. We would certainly recommend it and will stay there again when we visit Birmingham.

From the moment I stepped in the door I felt like I was at home. Beautiful cottage with every amenity you could wish for in a sought after village location. It was Christmas week and there was even a Christmas tree and a few other Christmas decorations put up for us. Train station within walking distance, lovely walks including canal walk, supermarket, take always, cafes. Everything you need is on the doorstep.
