Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alpine County

We stayed at Joyce's place for 2 nights. Joyce was very responsive and always kept checking in on us. The place is very well located, close to Lake Tahoe and only 20 mins to Sierra-at-tahoe, which was perfect for us. All the rooms were as described, clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home, highly recommend staying here for larger groups !

Chris was a great host and responsive throughout the trip. The place was clean and definitely had amenities that we needed. Will be coming back!

While the property itself has a few areas that could use some attention, I want to give a full 5 stars for the host, who was incredibly receptive, responsive, and open to feedback. It’s clear that this is a personally owned and managed space—not a cookie-cutter rental run by investors—and that made all the difference. The host genuinely cared about our experience and was proactive about addressing repair needs. That level of communication and accountability is rare and deeply appreciated. I’d much rather support an individual like this than stay in a corporate-owned listing. Looking forward to seeing how this space evolves under such thoughtful ownership. I would absolutely rent this property again in the future. I wish all hosts were as wonderful and caring as he is.

Super spacious house and located so close to the shops and restaurants at South Lake Tahoe! Place is very clean, and there are plenty of towels and dining ware for multiple guests.

Lori was very responsive and helpful. The home was in a great spot in Tahoe, very easy to find, and had everything for my family and I to ensure a comfortable stay. All of the beds were super comfortable and the home was very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Our family of 4 had a great stay! The hot tub was awesome and the location was great. Our boys (2 and 5) loved the house and it was great to have 2 separate bedrooms - one for us and one for the kids.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay! The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I actually want to purchase the stainless steel pans for my home kitchen! Ample parking and an amazing river hike right in the neighborhood! Thank you for hosting us!

Our group very much enjoyed the spacious home. Erik is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. I was very happy with how easy it was to request early check in and late check out. Also the flexibility of the pet policy. The house itself is very roomy and clean. It is not the most centrally located to South Lake Tahoe attractions but most things are only about 10 minutes away. The location was great for our group, and would work well for those looking for a more at home vibe vs a tourist destination.

Loved our stay at Katia’s place. Was the perfect size for 2 families. Lots of beds and everything was clean. Snow right outside the cabin so the kids had a blast the entire time. Just a short drive to go skiing / snowboarding. Would stay again if wanting a place where kids will have snow to play in and easy access to the slopes!

Amazing stay!!! Hiking and MTB trails steps away from the front door. Great location at the base of desolation wilderness with tons of other things to do in town within minutes. Plus it’s minutes away from the lake as well - you could even walk. Great apartment, spacious, clean, and equipped for longer stays. Overall wonderful long stay 🙌🏼

This Airbnb was the perfect South Lake Tahoe getaway. The place was cute, cozy, and welcoming! It’s tucked away in a peaceful area but still super close to the lake, trails, and great restaurants. My favorite part was the gorgeous trail that is right next door and the outdoor yard! Our pup had the best time exploring the area with us and felt right at home. The place was spotless, well-stocked, (even with snacks and treats!) and beautifully decorated with thoughtful, homey touches. Nicole was so kind and welcoming to us. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time at David and Nikki’s place! The location is perfect. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and even has a beautiful trail in walking distance. I would recommend their place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lake Tahoe!

We were in South Lake Tahoe for a ski trip and stayed at Diana’s place for a weekend. It was very comfortable stay and really clean! We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return !

The cabin was super cute and perfect for our quick but great little stay. My oldest son loved the loft! We’d love to come back when there’s snow and enjoy the cozy vibes all over again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We loved the pellet stove for heating! The condominium was very spacious with two almost completely separate, self-contained living spaces. We had to bring our dog, and the space worked for having a pet.
