Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Alpine County

Great modern Tahoe home in private neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen with everything one might need for cooking a meal. Nice dining table with room for everyone and comfortable living room space. King size bedroom does not have a private bathroom but rather the queen size bedroom has a private bathroom, so it’s a little confusing which room is considered the master bedroom.

Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my 40th. We had a great time. Everything was clean, organized, and great working condition. Irina was responsive, flexible and a good communicator. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience at this home. The neighborhood allowed for privacy, peace, and quiet. The home looked exactly like the pictures and was a cozy place for my guests and I to retreat to after a long day out. The master bed was especially comfortable, and we appreciated the heated flooring and waterfall shower head in the restrooms. We were also grateful for the amenities of a washer and dryer to manage our dirty clothes. The open space and natural lighting of the kitchen provided a welcoming environment. Our host Ally was very responsive and helpful as she guided us through our stay. We were lucky to experience some of the recommended restaurants in her guidebook. So happy we booked our stay here, and I'm looking forward for an opportunity to come back.

The house was big enough to accommodate the 5 of us with room to spare. We were comfortable and felt right at home. All was clean and functional, the location was great to get into South Lake Tahoe and all the ski resorts. We never made it into the backyard although the bocci court was calling to us- but it kept snowing. The house and grounds are very well laid out. We hope to come back to play bocci!

Nolan’s place is the perfect location for our Event Team retreat. This is the third year in a row at the property and keeps getting better. Great communication with Nolan. Plenty of room to sleep 10. The deck, kitchen, dining and living room areas are nice and roomy. The backyard is super nice and the Upper Truckee River runs through the back of the property. A table and chairs are at the river edge. There is an easy sand entry into the river and rocks and logs to sit on. Very relaxing and South Shore very close by. We are looking forward to next year.

We stayed at Denise’s beautiful home and it was better than I even thought it would be. Beautiful home, spacious and had a full game room which was a nice hangout. The hot tub and fire pit were great as well! Love how the house is set up and it’s right next to a perfect hiking trail. She responded quickly and was great as well. Excited to go back!

Super convenient if you're looking for a place for a short stay near Heavenly. Responsive hosts, and very effective communication. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Washoe Lodge! The room was absolutely beautiful, just like in the pictures, if not even better. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a very comfortable and relaxing space. What truly made the experience stand out were the hosts. They were incredibly kind and attentive from the very beginning, even before my arrival. Communication was clear and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Washoe Lodge. It's an awesome location if you are planning a weekend trip, central to the emerald bay, eagle falls, beach , the heavenly ski resort . WiFi is flimsy but otherwise, the room is perfect for a couple. We came during April and didnt use the space heater but you might need it too for the cold months.

Will be coming back!

We had a great stay! We've rented many condos in Kirkwood, but this was the most convenient. It's right by the lifts, you get a reserved garage spot, a ski locker big enough for a family, and even a fitness center. With the Murphy bed and fold-out couch, the studio was very efficient, as there was a lot of room once we put the beds away in the morning. We especially loved watching the snow fall and the snow cats work through the window. We'd rent it again anytime!

John and Jeanelle went above and beyond as hosts. Kirkwood is a remote place and they came to my rescue with AAA batteries we needed and couldn’t find at the general store. They were so responsive and tentative to our needs while we were there for a ski competition for our son. Would definitely recommend all of their properties at Kirkwood!

We visited Kirkwood during the quiet season and really enjoyed our stay. The area was peaceful and beautiful, and the home was even nicer and more spacious than the pictures showed. We especially liked the comfortable bed, cozy living room, and well-stocked kitchen. One thing we appreciated was how easy everything was, there weren’t a bunch of house rules or a long checkout list like some other Airbnbs. It made the stay feel simple and stress-free. We had a relaxing long weekend and would be happy to come back again.

I have stayed at a lot of vacation properties over the years and I've found the best are those where the host pays attention to detail. That was the case with this property. Whatever I looked for, I found. Locating the property and check-in were seamless. The place was clean. The kitchen had everything I would need. The bathroom was fine. The TV was easy to use and had streaming services set up. The view out the window had chairlifts 50 yards away and the mountains as backdrop. There was also a functioning heating system that I could control and keep the place toasty warm the entire time I was there. I would stay there again in the Winter and the Summer, given its proximity to lakes and lots of hiking.

The house was very nice inside. I really like the fact that everything was very well organized. I also liked all the natural light we got in the house as well. Everyone enjoyed the home and it was also close to all the shops and restaurants it was about a 10 min drive. Definitely would recommend.

Loved this place in the meadows at Kirkwood! Right next to a shuttle stop and easy walk to chairs 5/6. Slept family of four comfortably! Would stay here again!

I stayed here with 2 small children and it was perfect. Great location, well-stocked, and everything was brand new. Can't beat the easy walk to the slopes and the easy parking! The hosts were responsive and flexible. Note that the bed is way too soft, which was a bit uncomfortable for us after a very active day. Otherwise, this place ticks all the checkboxes.

My family and I had a great stay at Doug’s place. Instructions on check-in were very clear. Doug was even able to greet us personally. Love the location, perfect for us to get out and get right on the lifts! Beautiful views of the mountain. The kitchen was well stocked which was perfect for us to make family meals at the end of the day! We love Kirkwood and cannot wait to return and would absolutely book Doug’s place again.
