We got lucky to come in on a nice snowy day and Fred's place felt like a Christmas movie to be in during the snowfall, it was absolutely gorgeous. House felt very warm and comfortable to stay in. Plenty of space and rooms to house my entire family, the children really enjoyed it.

The house was really great. Lovely, peaceful neighborhood with a trail to hike at the end of the cul de sac. Nice balcony to sit on and have your morning cup of coffee and a great big fenced in yard for our dogs to run around in while we played cards on the picnic table. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat.

Rustic but totally renovated, private Chalet at Echo Summit nestled in the woods with an amazing hot tub deck overlooking the mountains from many directions and the huge Jeffrey pines behind the house. Just one half mile from the Pacific Crest Trail, 2 miles from Echo lake and 12 miles from South Lake Tahoe and all it has to offer. For restaurants and shopping its just 4 miles from the town of Meyers with a full service grocery store and many excellent restaurant options.

Hiking, Walking, Bike trails @ house. Great Granite Kitchen has Wolf Stove with grill. Back Deck features Propane BBQ . On the River & Meadow with large fenced acreage. Hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed. My fiance and I felt like it was a home away from home. The views were breathtaking and the company duing breakfast and at night around the firepit will be treasured memories for years to come. We both feel like we gained extra family members after our stay.

My 7yr old and myself had an unforgettable stay! The house was fantastic and the surrounding is stunningly beautiful. Rooms are super clean and very cozy. Jean and Dave (and their dog Cub) are very friendly and easy to communicate. Plan to come back next snow season with the full family!

This wonderful house is straight out of a storybook. A stunning view and a gorgeous, cozy space. We had some amazing home cooked breakfast courtesy of our wonderful hosts and great recommendations for hikes in the Tahoe region. Loved chatting with Jean and Dave, and they were very helpful picking and dropping us to the car in the snow cat! We are sure to be back in the summer.
