The home was comfortable and as described. We had a good stay and would stay there again.

Comfortable and clean home to spend time in a beautiful place. Kitchen and baths were stocked nicely and we all felt at home in the space. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice . It was very clean and perfect for a relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back.

A fine and pleasant stay at a cozy cabin in the woods. Clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Good communication with the host. Comfortable beds. Tankless water heater means hot water doesn't run out even if everyone returns from a hike and showers before jumping in the spa. High ceilings add an elegant touch. The upstairs gets hot during the summer but the handy provided fans fit into upstairs windows and the house cools quickly. All kitchen cabinets and drawers are full of dishes, pans, utensils, appliances, implements, etc. leaving almost no pantry-room. I was tempted to re-distribute items in drawers and cabinets to make room for grocery and pantry items I had brought, but instead just used counter-space. TVs upstairs and downstairs with clear instructions. Good WiFi. Would certainly stay again.

Lovely place. The cabin was cozy, clean and well equipped, perfect place to relax and unwind. My family and I had an amazing time. We definitely hope to return in the future!

This was the second time staying at Don & Jennifer’s place was a blast! We went snowboarding about 20 minutes away from Sierra-at-tahoe this trip and couldnt ask for more in regards to distance. Hot tub was nice to use after a long day on the slopes. Space was clean, tidy and very homey. Don & Jennifer’s place truly lives up to the “home away from home” label. Hope to be back again!

Beautiful home in a great location close to main-street South Lake, but still private and quiet. Looks even better than the photos! Little details like providing travel sized shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were also appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location and cozy cabin in the snow! The snowmobile adventure in and out was fun and we enjoyed cozy nights by the fire and all the board games and puzzles at the cabin. Thank you Stefani!

This cabin was perfect for our weekend in Tahoe. Plenty of space and super helpful host. Check in and check out was simple and a smooth process. The location of this cabin is about 15 minutes from the Heavenly village area and is perfect for a quiet/peaceful stay.

Another fantastic stay for our trip. Great communication and sledding in the backyard to boot. Seth took great care of our stay during the storm and we’re already looking forward to future stays. Thanks again!

We LOVE staying here whatever the season! Everything is perfect for us and our husky dog inside the beautiful house and the large enclosed yard. This has been our favorite place to stay in all of Tahoe :)

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Tahoe! The location is incredibly convenient, just about a 20-minute drive to both Heavenly and Sierra Ski Resorts, making it perfect for our winter getaway. After a day on the slopes, we loved returning to a cozy, well-equipped cabin. The host was amazing—very responsive, always replying to our messages within just a few minutes, and incredibly flexible with any needs we had. It was clear she cares about her guests' comfort and experience. The cabin itself had everything we could ask for. The jacuzzi was spotless and perfect for unwinding after a long day. We also appreciated the gated areas for our dogs to roam safely, which was a huge plus. The pool, open in the summer months, would be fantastic for warmer visits, too. The kitchen was well-stocked, with plenty of supplies that were easy to find, thanks to the clear labels. It made cooking meals a breeze. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would stay here again!

It’s great that there was plenty of space for my children to play, and the snow must have added an extra element of fun. Having a clean place with essential amenities, along with a convenient location near the lake and restaurants, makes for a perfect family getaway. Plus, a responsive and friendly hostess can really enhance the experience. Keep in mind it is a older house, so there are little details here and there. But nothing that won't make me not return. Found my get away cottage for Lake Tahoe.

This was a great family place for our ski trip. It was close to where we needed and plenty of space for us all. Definitely will stay here again.

Danny is a wonderful, responsive and caring host. You can tell he takes pride in his property to provide a super clean, comfortable and dog friendly option. I'm often disappointed by how dirty dog friendly airbnbs are - so I am over the moon to find this gem of a spot. While it says "not kid friendly" (and there are counter seats which are tough for babies), we found the clutter-free, super clean home to be more friendly for our 5 and 2 year old than most baby-friendly places. You do have to bring a pack and play and/or high chair for your kid if you'd like those items, but the kids just around the coffee table for breakfast. I wish I could hire Danny's housekeeper - the place is spotless - no dust, no dog hair floating around. It's a rustic looking home with clean modern furnishings. The kids and dog enjoyed the beautiful enclosed backyard. The quaint and quiet of the neighborhood was nice, but the property is a quick drive to Sierra Tahoe resort making it so convenient. We loved staying at Molly’s place. The hosts were responsive and, even though checking in and out was a bit challenging, they tried their best to be helpful in the process. They also allowed us to check out later than the scheduled time, which was very beneficial for us. The only criticism I have is in regards to Don Hicks, which was the person that helped us transport our luggage to the cabin when we arrived. Initially, he was very nice; however, due to the snow storm, we had difficulty locating the loading zone especially this being our first time in weather like this. He grew frustrated and unnecessarily referred to our friends with the R-slur. We understand his frustration, but this attitude had us discouraged. We understand that this is outside of the host’s control which is why I think they deserve 5 stars, but I would recommend them to provide someone else to help transport. Again, very beautiful cabin and location with great hosts.

This place was beautiful! And we got a text around 1pm that we could check-in early at no cost. We didn’t even request it but what an awesome touch. Would definitely book again. No AC but we were fine

This place is a gem in South Lake Tahoe. The home appears to have been recently updated and nothing was left untouched. Spotless kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, game room, back deck and yard. The inside is roomier than it seems in the photos, we had plenty of space for a family of 5.

Good experience overall. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, cookware, plates/bowls. Large driveway for parking. Quiet neighborhood. Easy drive of about 20 minutes drive to town. Perfect place for resting between ski days.
