Clay was an awesome host, very responsive and helpful with instructions! The yurt itself was absolutely adorable with the most excellent and gorgeous views. It was the perfect distance from the other yurts, where you could still get your privacy. The outhouse was also very prestige (as most others can be pretty gross). The kitchen had the perfect essentials also needed for a weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend Clay’s Yurt experience to others! We also had our 9 month old, so there was also plenty of space to have it his travel crib! 100000/10 experience:)

How many people can say that they stayed in a Sea Lion Shanty Yurt? We can! Perfect for our needs, and a unique experience that I would repeat. Loved the communal kitchen, and the relaxing interactions with other travelers. Highly recommended.

The yurt was adorable and cozy. We enjoyed making waffles and visiting with some of the other guests during breakfast. We had a last minute laye night reservation and Heather was very accommodating and a great communicator.

My husband and I are local Alaskans, and decided to escape for the weekend from Wasilla to Seward. We couldn't have picked a better spot than this charming yurt village. Our yurt was not only cozy, but also spotless, making us feel instantly at home. The outdoor kitchen was well-equipped, providing everything we needed to whip up a meal. We also loved the outdoor seating area, which was perfect for playing games and socializing with fellow guests. It truly was a magical getaway, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely little find for my pup and toddler. The kitchen space was so great and loved that there was a fire going. Peaceful and an all around beautiful community feeling.

We enjoyed our stay at this really magical yurt camp, it felt like a really unique experience! The camp kitchen was well organized and charming, and the shared bathrooms and showers were super clean. we highly recommend!

We loved Colleen’s yurts and really appreciate all that she does to keep them in great condition for guests. The view to the mountains was clear our first night. It was a bit cloudier the second night, but we still had a great time cozy inside. The drive up is definitely challenging in the winter, so if you can minimize that you’ll likely have a better stay.

We stayed at Kelli’s yurt for three nights, and it was lovely and comfortable. She provided great local recommendations and was very responsive. I would highly recommend it!

This place was incredibly cozy and was perfect for what we needed. The fireplace heats up fast and the warmth retains quite well. There was perfect lighting, the bedding was comfortable and the kitchen had a gold setup. The directions to get to the place were very helpful.

Our stay at the yurt was excellent. very quiet, spectacular view of the ocean. they had everything we would need for a comfortable stay and the breakfasts were DELICIOUS! Would definitely stay again!

A really cool, comfortable, and unique place to stay in Anchorage

Tammy was a lovely host! She had scones, egg bites and oj for us so we didn’t need to rush in the morning for breakfast. The outhouse was clean without smells, which was a relief. The yurt was warm & cozy. We had everything we needed for our stay. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed the peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the world. She even let me visit the farm and meet her chickens! We had a lovely, relaxing time and will be back!

Such a cute yurt! So close to Anchorage so it’s not too long of a drive. Beautiful lake views with a short walk. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for better.

We had a wonderful time in the Yurt for a night when we were passing through to visit Denali / go hiking. I was sad to leave, it was so cozy and comfy!

We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Homer. The views from inside and from the deck are amazing, very relaxing! Saw eagles, moose and a squirrel while there.

Loved the mini community here. The staff runs a good ship 🏴‍☠️ the property is a short driving distance from the busy downtown
