Villa holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

The most amazing view we got to see in Costa Rica, over lush mountains all the way to the Pacific Ocean!!! The accommodation was exactly as pictured, very new and super clean. The pool areas is very pleasant and the hosts were extremely friendly!

Stayed there with a very large family group including children, infants, and toddlers. Host was helpful and gracious with check-in and stayed in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was fine. The space fit our group great. The pool was a hit with the youngsters. It was an easy walk to downtown La Fortuna whenever anyone wanted to get out. Just what we needed.

This was a great place to stay! Lots of wildlife, and felt pretty secluded. Me and my wife really enjoyed staying there and using the jacuzzi.

We had a great time on the outskirts of Monteverde in this home. close enough to get to the attractions too. TV was good with apps available netflix etc. for when it was chucking it down with rain! can get a bit loud in the heavy storms with rain on the roof. The place was big enough to feel like a little home in the mountains. Clean and well thought out. Hot tub was a bonus! Thank you for having us.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful. We came to La Fortuna for an adventurous trip surrounded by nature and peace and that’s exactly what we got. The home was spacious, clean and exactly as described and photographed. The jacuzzi was amazing to have, especially after a day of hiking, horseback riding and ATVs! The staff at the restaurant and bar across the property were absolutely amazing and Alonso was a pleasure to meet and rent from. He gave so many recommendations for activities, restaurants and ways to book them all, you won’t be bored! We will absolutely book with Alonso again when we come back to La Fortuna. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Sunset House! Randall was very responsive to all of our questions. The kitchen was well stocked for the nights we decided to cook in. The location was convenient- close to restaurants and a lot of the attractions. We even saw sloths on our walk around the property! The only hiccup that we had was unlocking the door from the inside, as the lock is a bit sticky

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

We had an incredible stay at this property and can’t recommend it highly enough! The location was ideal—less than 15 minutes to everything we needed, but tucked away enough to feel quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed everything the Toucan Villa had to offer. The walking trails were perfect for a morning stroll with our coffee and the entire property felt extremely safe thanks to the gated entrance. The highlight for our family of 4 was the private pool—just the right size for us to relax and splash around after the adventures of the day. It was such a luxury to have that space all to ourselves! The view of the Arenal volcano from the property was absolutely stunning on a clear day. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up to make us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed every minute and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This location is so beautiful and unique! It is like being in a multi tiered treehouse in the jungle that is a block from civilization. One afternoon we had monkeys visit us and play on the trees around the house and roof! The host and housekeeper are very responsive. Know that some beds and rooms are separate apartments. But the main house is beautiful wood with an open layout that we all met up in by the fireplace in the evening. Amazing memories and trip!

Beautiful estate with ample room for my group of 14 and then some! Beautiful deck with spectacular views for morning and sunset yoga practice, chefs kitchen with everything our private chef needed! Very clean with comfy beds. Responsive host with onsite coordinator that helped troubleshoot any issues and problems.

We were two families with teenage kids and really enjoyed the sleeping arrangements and that each adult couple and sets of kids had their own bungalow. The area was peaceful and just outside of town but quick and easy drive/ride into town (no problem Ubering to town). It’s a very authentic accommodations but still had AC and full kitchen. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great home with a centralized location. Very walkable to nearby shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Our group of 6 had plenty of space to share and relax. Mario and Carlos went above and beyond to help coordinate our transportation and excursions. The house had many amenities including air conditioners in each bedroom and box fans that can be used in the common areas if you need to cool off after a long day of activities. Two bedrooms have excellent closet space and the other two have space to spread out personal items. The 4th bedroom and laundry room are secluded towards the back of the house but you may need a raincoat since there is not a covered path. The condensation in the fridge may pool on the top shelf - be mindful of any items you may store. Would highly recommend!

Amazing property and beautiful view. Looks just like the photos. Stayed with our 5 kids - plenty of rooms/beds and bathrooms made it very comfortable. Ronald, the property manager was sooo helpful - booked us a chef, fishing and was always in contact with us. Road into punta islita was a bit rough for the van that we rented - 4x4 would have been better. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our group of 8 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Allan & Jorge’s villa, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa offered the perfect balance of privacy and a shared space, ideal for our group. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with our hosts was seamless. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of fruit and drinks. Thank you, Allan & Jorge!

Absolutely stunning stay! The host was incredibly responsive and gave us a full tour upon arrival. He was also very flexible as our arrival time changed due to traffic and flights. The pictures don’t do the property justice—it’s immaculate, peaceful, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. You’re fully immersed in the rainforest with the sounds of wildlife and even a family of sloths on site! There are so many areas to relax and enjoy nature. The on-site staff was attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Even though there are a few other homes on the property, it still felt very private and secluded. Perfect for both small and large groups, with the option to rent the entire estate. Highly recommend and would love to return! Thank you, Andy!

We loved the house , the space, the pool and even the surroundings in the house floor and the downstairs that has a lot to explore. Mafe ( Maria ) was an amazing host and always there to help and respond anything we needed. She helped accommodate us the best possible for any needs needed . We loved that each room had a bathroom , plus two more in the house overall. We loved the lady who cooked and also takes care of the house . Her name is Gloria and she truly made our stay feel like HOME. Her cooking is amazing and she does it with love. She was truly one of our favorites part of the stay. The location was good and even had a spot nearby with different spots to try different food . We truly enjoyed this Airbnb to the max. Gloria makes the home feel like home and Mafe made us feel at home in Costa Rica.

Amazing place to stay with friends or family and close to La Fortuna downtown and the El Salto rope swing. Great backyard with grill and pool that is covered from the rain.

great location - just close enough to access the arenal area, but also have privacy. loved the decor, felt right at home. was able to stream movies with ease and have dinner on the patio at night.

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

The home is as described and almost new. The pool area was a highlight although we had a difficult time working the controls for the spa so more detailed instructions in English would have been beneficial. The kitchen was very well equipped, better than any we have experienced previously. Nice place we would stay again.

Very smooth check-in. Home had everything we needed. Liked the privacy. Locked gate. Neighborhood was friendly. Very safe location. Away from the city. Host provided excellent communication and was always available. High end stove and washer but figured out. Appreciate the pitcher of cold water. There was available extra towels, paper towels, blankets, etc. Liked the generosity of those essential items.

I absolutely loved my stay! The house was beautiful—so nice we didn’t even want to leave. The pictures honestly didn’t do it justice. Everything was clean, spacious, and well-designed. The driver that was recommended was amazing—we really enjoyed our road trips with him. He was super nice, funny, and made the ride there enjoyable. Pedro was also incredibly helpful and kind; he truly saved the day more than once and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I totally recommend staying here—it was an unforgettable experience!

From beginning to end, everything was absolutely perfect. Arnaldo was so easy to communicate with and answered all questions quickly. I knew this place would be gorgeous but the pics really do not do justice to how insanely gorgeous the property truly is. I would 10000% stay again if in area. Felt like luxury! Truly loved this spot sooooo very much! Only a 15 min drive to La Fortuna center. Thank you, Arnaldo and family! We could not have been more pleased!! Wonderful stay!!!
