Tiny house holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

A lovely location and a super nice host. Jessica met us on arrival, chatted over making us coffee, got to know us. The house was spacious and very comfortable, a good kitchen dining area and lovely patio. We saw howler monkeys close up and toucans in the garden. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I had a great time at Finca San Luis. A quiet and peaceful surrounding with lots of farm animals (funny dogs!) fantastic farmgrown veggies and coffee. Luisa is a lovely host, we shared some laughs. The cabaña has everything you need, a nice terrace with rocking chairs and a beautiful view, great kitchen and bathroom with hot water, comfortable bed which keeps you warm at night. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

Great nature spot with view

We loved our stay at cabin 11. Everything was just as advertised. The view from the back deck was beautiful. It was easy to walk to several restaurants and also a small store where supplies could be purchased. The morning breakfast for $7 was well worth the money. The area was convenient to the main town of La Fortuna. Just a short hike down to the river. We had a wonderful peaceful time!

We enjoy every second of our stay at Casa Cielo. We feel at home! We loved the bathtub watching the stars, the hammock on the balcony at sunset, the trails around the house, the privacy and every special detail of the house. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time at the glass house 1.0. The view was incredible and the home was stocked thoughtfully. The Amalu signage along the way was quite helpful after the drive up. Definitely recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle to get to the house and for around MV.

This was a great place to stay! We needed to use the washer and dryer and we were greeted by his mother-in-law who not only offered to do our laundry but folded it and gave it back to us in a timely manner. We were very appreciative and the beautiful surroundings were a plus! Such a fun place to stay in nature.

A beautiful, private feeling accommodation in a very safe location which is easily walkable to restaurants and shops. You will feel secluded in nature with the birds and the squirrels but also have all the conveniences and comforts you want. Silvia was really responsive and let me into the accommodation as soon as it was ready which helped with my early arrival. Note that although the place is quite private there is a soccer field not far which sometimes had people there quite late so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

Accurate and very fast information about the location and how to access the chalet, the chalet is completely surrounded by greenery in a wonderful location. It is complete with every comfort and Alberto and his wife were very kind.

Ok, the place and the host are perfect. The problem is that it says San Ramón and maybe it happens to them as we imagine it as close to San Ramón center, but no! Literally, it is Peñas Blancas, it is about 20 or 25 minutes from Fortuna, so if you think of something closer, it is complicated because it takes more than 3 hours from San José. So, for them to take it into account, but it's totally worth it! The cabin, the river, everything was great, to be honest

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

Nice and clean, loved the pool and proximity to town. Hosts were responsive and even replaced a coffee maker that we were unable to pour without spilling - lol, could have been user error. So, to answer the questions that we had before staying there: 1. There are three cows next door and they come to visit, but there is no overwhelming manure smell or issue with flies that we observed. 2. There is now a building DIRECTLY next door, but to be honest, I was glad it was there. The landscaping is nicely done, filling in, and the building is painted nicely and offers the privacy I was hoping for. 3. The common area isn't real big, and you can make it comfortable with the provided fans. The home is beautiful, we enjoyed ourselves here, and would stay here again

This listing is in an ideal location, walkable distance to restaurants and other activities in La fortuna. Willy was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. Would recommend this place to others!
