Boutique hotel holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

We spent one night before heading to La Fortuna . The place is beautiful and the host is very nice . He accommodated dinner request last minute without prior notice . The restaurant food ( Dinner and breakfast) was super good . We will stay again here .

Absolutely gorgeous setting with beautiful grounds and an amazing view of the volcano. The space was perfect for our family of five and being associated with the hotel made checking in and getting information very easy. Breakfast was delicioys and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. It is conveniently located with a car though may be less so without a car.

Thank you so much Hotel Belmar for an incredible experience in Monteverde. I don't think I have ever been more relaxed in my life. The hotel, food, spa treatment, grounds and amazing hospitality exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated on a hill and our room overlooks the cloud rain forest and has gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is close to many attractions, local restaurants and shops in Monteverde. Hotel Belmar has a restaurant, juice + tea room, a brewery, and fifteen-minute walking trail on their property. Highly recommend and hope to visit again sometime soon.

Very grateful for the attention received, the host is very flexible during check-in times, the social area of the house has a very good location, and allows you to enjoy spectacular views and beautiful sunsets, it is equipped with EVERYTHING ( EVERYTHING) you need to have a great time. The property in general is very well cared for and allows you to be in a relaxed and quiet place, We were delighted with the gentlemen who take care of the property, they are very friendly, and respectful , we felt very calm with them and with the attention they gave us.

This the second time staying at Eleazar & Marsha's place. We had a great stay !

Great spot.

Ruta Verde was great. William came and picked me up from the Airport and had a couple of beers waiting for me at my room. In the morning they cooked me a delicious breakfast the next morning with a lovely smoothie!! He also had a rental car ready for me which was so convenient. No waiting in line at the airport after a long day of Traveling. The car was great a Hyundai 4x4 which was super clean and felt brand new. I drove it all around Costa Rica with zero problems. I stayed at the beach for a few days then returned to Ruta Verde to a nice home cooked meal and a glass of wine. The next morning I woke up to a nice breakfast and then William drove me to the airport. He made everything so easy. Definitely will come back. What a wonderful place !!

The place is very safe, the facilities are very complete, very clean and comfortable. Recommended.

Great location! Clean, comfortable rooms. Ours had a balcony which was nice. Great views of volcano. Lots of restaurants in walkable area. Parking was not an issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioner worked great (it actually got too cold!) which was nice after a humid hike. Water pressure was good and good hot water. Relatively quiet, there is a lounge restaurant across the street with live music most nights and it can be bit loud but they stop at 10pm - it was not an issue at all for us - the parrots in the park across the way can be loud at sunrise :) but we loved it. There is a great bakery half a block away, and the pizza at the corner restaurant was good (thin crust but good). Really a good stay and would come again!

i went on vacation with my wife and Mrs. Shirley. We felt comfortable and cluttered with the vegetarian food I prepare for us, because in the area you can't get vegetarian options.

So this was a welcome surprise for us as we wanted to stay at a place with beautiful views and soak in the Arenal misty experience. This is the perfect place for that.We happened to be the first guests and Wybe our host took great care of us. What amazed us was the location and the beauty, also we were provided complimentary breakfast for both days of our status. we would recommend booking tours through Wybes company redlavatours as it will be easy for pick up and drop.

Lugar belleo, the best service and attention. It is really a space of privacy and relaxation, my wife and I share in a natural environment full of all the typical needs of a home. Simply spectacular.

We had a great stay here, really cool having a hot tub overlooking the forests, and the pools were idyllic. Also a very good location

The room was fantastic. The property was very well located in a close proximity to all attractions. Very nice property set in a beautiful garden, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breathtaking view of the volcano from the restaurant which we managed to see the whole thing was priceless. The large terrace with a beautiful view of the rainforest. The very friendly service and delicious breakfasts every morning were a nice addition. If I ever come to Costa Rica I will definitely stay there again. I will recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

This was one of the most beautiful resorts i have ever been to! the landscaping is stunning and all the pool areas are so well done. The staff were all amazing and the food at the restaurant was top notch. The kids loved the slide area and playing basketball at night. This place really has it all and is extrememly comfortable for the whole family. Highly recommend.
