We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was clean and perfect for our family! The area is great, we had plenty to do while out in our side by side!!

My husband and I stayed here seeking a relaxing memorial day weekend. James's airbnb was hands down the best airbnb we have ever stayed with. From the moment we drove up the long, gravel driveway we fell in love with the breathtaking surroundings. Inside the home, we were struck with awe as we marveled at the amish-made construction, perfectly thought out details, and incredible amenities including a charming wood-burning fireplace, a wraparound upper balcony, and incredible stargazing opportunity. Not a single detail went unnoticed - we especially appreciated the bottle of wine and nightstand chocolates! We truly felt like we were at home, and strongly considered asking James to let us move in. The airbnb is a short drive to the Kickapoo River where we spent time kayaking, and a 30-minute drive to Cashton, WI where we enjoyed perusing the local amish shops. We will definitely be back, and next time we're bringing our bikes to explore the Sparta-Elroy bike trail!

Mélanie and Tom were an incredible welcome !! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The room and the rest of the house are very cozy and comfortable. We feel that Mélanie puts a lot of heart to receive people at her house, thank you again for the advice and tricks she could give me for my future trips to the United States. If you miss something, Mélanie will give herself body and soul to provide you! Thanks again to you two for these moments of sharing

Clean, comfortable, well layed out. Very full kitchen and just simple little extras, that were not expected. The location worked super for our two night stay. North to Sparta and the big tunnel on our first day of riding. South to Elroy and the two shorter tunnels the next day. Close enough to Sparta for dinning and drinking options. Local bar and grill across the street. We recommend the bank.
