Yurt holiday rentals in Adirondack Mountains

I sort of selfishly don't want to write this because I feel I found a secret gem in this place but they deserve your business so: FABULOUS in every way! Sheila and her crew are pro-level. I felt totally comfortable from the moment I booked until the moment I left. It is a magical space and they are lovely, lovely people. They were available, helpful and friendly but also gave us our space. It was a COLD, rainy May weekend but so unbelievable cozy and we still effortlessly had the best time. I am having trouble imagining a season that would not be perfect here. Would go back, 100%.

This was our first stay in a Yurt - it was very unique and great experience. The property had a nice hiking trail. It was very cool to hear & see (thru the sky light) the rain coming down. It did rain the few days we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor firepit - but we do plan to stay again later this summer. Ellen was a great host!

Big thank you to both Rick and Ed, they are amazing hosts! You barely need to bring anything with you for your stay. Everything from reusable dishes, recyclable goods, hygiene supplies, linens, etc. The bed was very comfortable and we both got two great nights sleep. We can’t say enough good things about this property in general. The goats are quite the wonderful experience! We were also pleased to be introduced to Maggie the border collie and Maple who looks like the sweetest teddy bear ever. Jack the kitty was also a gracious host. We ordered two evening meals which were delicious and plentiful (no need for extra snacks), breakfast was divine and arrived at 8am each morning. We truly felt spoiled!

We had a great time at the yurt. Would definitely stay again. The view is gorgeous and the yurt is so cozy.

My husband and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibe provided! We had a great weekend away and loved how we felt close enough to all the happenings in town but far enough out that it was a quiet, nice, safe neighborhood. I took advantage of all that Sheri had to offer and would definitely be back again!

A lovely setting, great welcome, fantastic view, very cosy yurt with wood stove. Fantastic biking and walks in the woods nearby.

Peaceful and beautiful!

My partner, our dog, and I stayed at the yurt as a homebase to do some high peaks hiking and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The yurt has everything you need and is very peaceful. We also purchased some farm fresh eggs and sheep’s milk yogurt while we were there. We would definitely come back!

Tony and Kim’s place is beautiful! Very private and cozy fireplace. They even brought us warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival! Good base for Adirondacks hiking (one hour to high peaks area). Note that the map location was incorrect and there is poor cell service in the area so make sure to ask for specific instructions before arriving.

Great stay and will always recommend everyone to try glamping! This yurt was the best of both worlds with the washroom indoors (personally was a necessity) and the beautiful surroundings. The lake is crystal clear and in the fall was gorgeous! Hosts were extremely helpful and gave clear instructions that were easy to follow. Will definitely want to come back again!

Cathy and Axel’s yurt was a dream! Not only was it extremely beautiful— it also had everything in anything you could need while staying away from home. The hot tub was a beautiful addition to enjoy while looking up at the night sky. We are so pleased with our stay. They also granted us one extra hour/a delayed checkout. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to disconnect and enjoy the sounds of nature. 100/10 ♥️

Nanci has an incredible place filled with a sense of care and belonging. To say that about the accommodations isn’t enough. You are left surrounded by the beauty of horses in all shapes, all happy to be.

such a fun stay with my 12yr son over the weekend. we went to the mines nearby. will definitely want to go back... a dream spot when its warmer and nice weather for going in the lake.

If outdoors is where you want to be and looking for a unique camping experience, this is it! I've wanted to stay in a Yurt my whole life. The themes of each yurt are amazing. I was given a tour of the wedding barn too. So beautiful. Got everything I wanted. Hiking trails on the property for me and our dogs, swimming pool for the kids, and a great pond fishing experience. Camp fires at night are a must. The best thing is the abundance of wild life. This is a bird enthusiast's paradise. Bring binoculars! And the hosts really know what they're doing! I wouldn't be able to list or describe all the great things they do to make their place the magic that it is. So, just book it and see for yourself!

Everything was just like the picture, definitely check out down town. We was greatful as well for Jon we ended up having a big fly in and he was quick to come in and help get it out .

One of the most relaxing campgrounds I’ve stayed at- first, I was running behind with three little ones but the owner was very understanding and flexible with the arrival. She gave us a quick rundown of the place late at night, had butter and milk in the fridge for the next morning, and made us feel at home instantly. The butterfly yurt was suggested to us and turned out to be even better than I had expected- so many camping necessities were offered, many clean dishes and cast iron pans to use, the beds were comfortable, and the morning view was so peaceful. The walking trails were also beautiful and entertained my kids all day long- we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely go back again!

The bear Kamp yurt was perfect!! The welcome guide started the stay off with clear instructions and then from the minute we got to camp, Lynn was there to welcome us and give us recommendations. The camp itself was great, with so much to do! From peddle-boats to walking trails to a painted rock hunt, we enjoyed the activities during the day and a campfire at night! It was 50 minutes from Saratoga and 45 minutes from Lake George, so we spent an evening in each town. This was a lovely stay with lovely hosts and surroundings!

We had a lovely stay. The yurt was amazing the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. Thomas was a great host and always responsive. We plan on coming back for sure!

This was our first time staying in a yurt - we are traditionally tent campers - and I have to say the experience exceeded our expectations! The yurt was super comfortable, cozy and honestly couldn't have been more accommodating. You can tell that Andy and Lynn have put a lot of time and effort into making they yurt feel just like home! The property is expansive, gorgeous and peaceful. There are multiple fishing ponds (my boys were out on the paddle boat fishing for hours). Hiking trails, and plenty of room for my dog to roam! There are actually 4 total yurts so larger groups could easily rent multiple units. The location is great too. Lake St. Catherine, Lake George, Manchester VT all within 30-45 minute drive. Andy and Lynn were responsive, friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone - we can't wait to return!

My boyfriend and I had a great time in the Yurt! We love to hike and be in nature, and this was the perfect spot surrounded by mountains and various trails. The pictures don’t show the amount of furniture and amenities in the yurt itself. There was a couch and bunk bed in addition to the main bed in the images. There were also many board games that kept us busy when it rained. The outhouse was the cleanest and least buggy outhouse I’ve ever used! The wood stove also kept the yurt plenty warm. When we stayed it only got down to low 40s, but it got warm very quick. The kitchen is about 15 feet away from the front door of the yurt and is stocked with cookware and utensils for some simple meals. Overall, I could not recommend this place more if you love the mountains and nature in general!
