Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Adirondack Mountains

Staying at Gail's place was a treat. I came durring the off-season which was quiet and peaceful. Most of the resort area is closed outside winter and summer but there is a small market open during the day for convieniences. It's also a short drive away from many small towns. Standouts were Stowe and Waterbury which were wonderful to visit. There are so many trails to checkout in the area. Hiking up the mountain just outside the apartment is great and has an amazing view at sunset. Camels hump and various trails in the notch were awesome. It was even close enough where I took a day trip into the White Mountains. I stayed for 27 days. Durring the week I work remotely. The internet was enough for large conference calls with video during the day and I had no issues. In the evening there is a noticible slowdown. The Wifi is shared throughout the resort. The kitchen was easy to work with. And when you open the balcony door there is a small stream that offers fantastic white noise.

Nancy left very clear details and her place was just as described. Everything was neat and clean everything felt like home. This was our first experience with AirBnB and it was a positive experience. We shall use AirBnB in the future. Thank you Nancy

This was our second stay here. This time for our daughter’s college graduation from Hamilton. Convenient, near good restaurants and 20 from the college.

Fabulous stay. Photos don’t show how nice and open the space it. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals at home. Location was perfect for our needs and the dedicated parking was very convenient.

Very clean, cozy and convenient. Floor plan was nice. Bathroom was clean. Pictures are accurate. Plenty of towels and linens. Kitchen was stocked with supplies. Fridge was clean and large. Easy entry and access. Parking was easy. Great location to Lake Placid & Saranac.

Ronnie’s place was just what we were looking for. A comfortable place for 5 of us to rest and chat while doing other activities in the area. We got to enjoy the hot tub, covered away from the rain, and played board games indoors. We were also able to prepare a steak dinner on the grill and using the fully furnished kitchen. The neighborhood was a little drab, but his space was a pleasant oasis from it. Still fine to walk around during the day. The neighbors above could be heard walking inside, but this was expected and they didn’t bother us on our vacation. Though they did park a little close for us to comfortably fit in our 3 cars into the 4 slots allowed. But street parking was also fine directly in front of the house. Overall, we enjoyed our time spent at his place, and he kept it neat and accommodating. A great value when you want a hot tub, 1.5 baths, a grill, comfortable queen beds, and pull out. I wish the weather was better for us to enjoy more of his furnished patio space.

Highly recommend Gary’s place. Ideal location just off Main St and walkable to everything in Lake Placid plus 15 min drive to Whiteface Mtn. It’s very spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We plan to return!

Location worked well for us. We saw a bear on the road right beneath our 2nd story balcony. That was exciting - no photos though. No portable a/c installed yet since days are still cool. Bed was comfortable, nice amenities. There were only a very few of us at this resort - being in between ski season and summer tourists. Gondola not yet running for summer tourists. Enjoyed a meal at Charity’s Saloon and also Long Trail Brewery. Our view from the balcony was to the cafeteria building windows - so many tables - must get really busy for ski season. Enjoyed visit to Queechee.

Tom was super helpful with Checking in as well as checking out. Place is always clean and super close to our event. Thanks so much.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Cozy, clean and such a comfortable place to stay and exactly what was described in the listing. I’ll certainly be booking again! Tricia’s communication was perfect, everything very clear and didn’t have to reach out with extra questions.

We stayed at Julia's vacation rental for a 3-day weekend with our four children under the age of 12. The things that were great: 1) the unit is 150 foot walk in ski boots from a ski trail that will take you to the Mount Snow lift, which was great because we didn't have to shlep 4 kids ski gear, 2) the four kids loved the bunk bed room and were comfortable, 3) there are two large shelves of board games the kids enjoyed, 4) the access to the Sports Center which has a heated indoor pool and hot tubs were a great way to end the day after skiing, 5) the outdoor locker was a great place to dump all the ski gear (much better storage location than inside the car or inside the unit) and 6) very nice fluffy towels and bed sheeting was comfortable. A combined liquid shampoo and body soap is provided in each bathroom, which is the same that we use to bath our kids at home.

The unit is very comfortable for a family and very convenient to Mount Snow. Updated bathrooms and washer/dryer. Great clubhouse and pool facilities at Seasons condo. Andrew was a pleasure to work with.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Rafael's condo. The space was very clean and comfy, and exactly matched the description and photos posted here. The fireplace was a great draw, too. If you're planning on skiing at Mt. Snow, the Moover shuttle bus stop is located right outside of this building, which made for a very convenient and quick way to get to Mt. Snow for my family of 4. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

Great place to stay conveniently located by the mountain base! We enjoyed walking into the village after skiing. Very clean and cozy and had everything we needed and more. Dana was very responsive! Hope to come again next year!!

Great location for pico mountain. The ski on ski off was pretty easy to find and nicely located. The location is slightly less ideal for killington, as you need to take a shuttle that has multiple stops. We also ended up on a bigger bus to take us back from Killington and the drop off was on the main road, which was a bit difficult to walk on in our snow gear. Overall, nice apartment and perfect for my group of friends.

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

Had a great stay at Russ’s place over a long weekend. The place matches the pictures and description very well and Russ has everything you need from cooking supplies, kayaks, paddle boards, gas and wood outdoor fire pits, etc. The driveway is very steep and could be an issue for older guests getting to and from the lake. However, for a group of younger guys in town for the Belmont stakes, it was perfect. The house is situated on a deeper part of the lake perfect for swimming and fishing. Would recommend staying with Russ.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dylan’s with 3 others for 3 days and it was a beautiful, clean home. We had no issues with anything . Dylan responded to us no problem, the house looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the pool was a good temperature, the hot tub was our favorite thing in the backyard. We used the fireplace and it was really nice as well as the grill, we loved making food on there too. Overall it was an amazing experience Dylan was great with communication and hospitality. I would definitely book with him again.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

This home is perfect for a family gathering in Albany. The bedrooms were spacious and on three different levels, so everyone had privacy when needed. The eat-in kitchen with large table easily sat all 6 of us for shared meals. We loved the location, so close to all the highways yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.

A great place to stay! The hosts were friendly and responsive. The house was clean, cozy and spacious enough for all 7 of us. There are plenty of activities and local sights to see. Would recommend

The house was beautiful and Rhonda was great, she was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home and enjoyed the place more than Lake George :) , the hot tub and pool were great and i would recommend anyone coming to this area to definitely book the place if they get the chance.

This home met all of our expectations, and the host, Nathaniel, exceeded expectations. Firstly, this home matched the photos and written description. We loved having a well stocked kitchen to cook all of our meals. The location was ideal for us, as it's only 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain--we were here for U14 Easterns for Alpine Ski Racing so this home's location made those super early mornings SO much easier. The home is just as close to numerous hiking trails, which were super fun to explore in our spare time. Further, our host was top notch--friendly, accommodating (ie he leant us a piece of bakeware to borrow!), generous (he shared some freshly roasted coffee beans with us!), and enthusiastically responsive to my numerous inquires about everything and anything! We hope to explore the ADKs in the future and we would love to return to this home and have Nathaniel and his partner as our hosts!
