Lake house holiday rentals in Adirondack Mountains

The house at Sacandaga Lake was beautiful. Everything was as listed in the computer. House was very comfortable with multiple places to sit and talk. The upstairs was very comfortable with the large window over looking the lake. The weather wasn't great, but we made the best of it. Thank you.

Martha’s place is the perfect waterfront property to stay at for a relaxing weekend! The amenities are great and it is a cozy/updated camp with everything you need! It is close to neighbors and situated in a walkable community with friendly people. Great for a summer getaway with family or friends!

We had a great time staying at L.J’s place. Our children loved app that there was to do and we took daily walks down to the frozen lake. Lots of fun sledding and relaxing!

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay - far exceeded our expectations! Felt right at home, everything we needed to prep food was there. Beautiful house & lakefront that the dogs loved swimming in. Would recommend. We have family near the area so we will definitely be back.

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! Kelly’s place was an absolute dream! The space is fully renovated and even still smells “new.” The views are incredible and the space feels so cozy with lots of privacy. The house has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Kelly was incredibly helpful and responsive to my many questions before check-in. We brought our 20’ boat and there was just enough room to maneuver. We didn’t end up even taking the boat out though because we enjoyed being at the house that much! We had so much fun fishing from shore, the catfish and bullhead kept us very busy, with a few surprise species mixed in as well. We barely heard the trains when they passed by and weren’t bothered by them at all. Mornings out by the water, sipping coffee, reading a book, while my boyfriend caught fish, then enjoying breakfast on the deck— it can’t be beat! This was a perfect little getaway to unplug from the rest of the world and to recharge with some peace and quiet accompanied by beautiful views! Can’t wait to return!

Second year staying here, highly recommend for a getaway with your spouse. It is charming and cozy. The view is amazing no matter the weather outside. The owner is super responsive and helpful. The house has everything you need to make your meals. I love that the cabinets are all labeled so you’re not playing a guessing game. I look forward to our stay next year!

Was a great location, close to everything we wanted to do, 10-15 mins from golf courses, 10-15 mins from casino. Backyard was just big enough for lawn games/activities, hard to beat being right on the water for the price

The house and location were amazing. We had 10 people and there was more than enough room for all of us. We played ping pong and air hockey until our arms were sore!

We absolutely loved our stay! This Airbnb was the perfect place for our family to getaway and enjoy the amazing pool, plus the cosy house to relax in. Yasiel was very accommodating and responsive and was a great host! We’re already trying to plan our next trip back - can’t recommend enough!

This cabin was perfect for a get away ! Went with another couple we all had a great time it was very relaxing . Cabin was clean had everything you needed the lake right across the road was amazing did some kayaking beautiful views everywhere ! Would stay here again next time we visit big moose lake

How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

We enjoyed the backyard and kayaks immensely! Great yard for kids and pup to play in. Close to White Face, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Beds were very comfortable and so many thoughtful amenities. Jennifer was in contact with us to make the rental perfect! We hope to go back in the fall or winter in the future.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. We didn’t have the best weather but we made the most of it. Susan’s home made it easy to be comfortable and have fun! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—just a short drive to Lake George Village and only 10 minutes from a wedding we attended in Queensbury. The house itself is absolutely beautiful; the photos don’t do it justice. It was even better in person—clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was just a quick ride outside of town and very easy to find! Plenty of space for our family and we were able to enjoy a movie on the big screen downstairs! The kitchen was well stocked as well as towels and blankets so the kiddos could cuddle up near the fireplace! We will keep you on our list for future visits to Old Forge! Thank you The Russo Family!

We had another wonderful stay at the Dollhouse. The weather was perfect and the hiking (which includes a great hike from the front door) was amazing. The sunsets on the back porch were delightful. Evenings in front of the fireplace were a great way to end the day. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The Dollhouse worked perfect for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their visit. Virginia is an exceptional and responsive host. We had a problem with the internet, and she responded immediately and solved the problem. We plan to be back again next year.

Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!
