Holiday rentals with a patio in Achill Island

Ruth was a fantastic host. Her property was well equipped with everything. We had a very comfortable stay there. To top it off she is extremely kind and considerate. She also has a very friendly and sweet dog. Will definitely book with her again when in Westport.

Comfortable space with a beautiful river view. There were a few minor hiccups that Mary promptly addressed. Visitors from the states should beware that European washing machines and dryers have VERY long cycles. Just the way things are. The Port Chipper just down the street has THE best fried cod we ate in all of Ireland. Steak burger also excellent. Had another fine meal at the Hotel Newport. Centra market in town remarkably well-stocked.

Had a great time. My family was having an amazing evening.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

We came down to do the Gael Force adventure race. The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was a nice walk into town for all the pubs, and shops. Westport is a great town full of life. We really enjoyed the sunshine on the patio with the lovely woodlands and birdsong just out back.

Great location with fantastic views. Spring birdsong in the morning including a cuckoo was lovely to wake to. We also had a close-up visit from a hare on one morning. The nearby beaches are a must visit, with the mountain backdrop adding to the scene. The accommodation was very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom made all the difference.

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great experience staying at cathal’s place. It’s a spacious house with room for several cars outside. Having five bathrooms for eight people was ideal. Place was clean and well equipped. There’s a petrol station 200 meters down the road. Close to beaches and close to Louisburgh village. Cathal was easy to contact when needed. We struggled a little bit to find the place but Cathal was available on phone to help us. Would stay there again.

Evelyn’s house was beautiful and we had such a cosy stay for my family and I as we were visiting Westport for my Mam’s 60th! Everything you need is in the house! A relaxing stay and a very clean house , conveniently located 5 minutes drive from Westport!

Five star plus for this house, large yet cosy, close to amenities, walking distance to gastro pub swimming from the pier which was 3 minutes from the front door or fabulous beach only a ten minute drive away. Stayed with our daughter and son-in-law both of whom had digital work to do, plenty of room for us all while zoom and teams meetings were going on. Their small dog loved the house and garden! Great location, great communication from the host, and while it was self check in host ensured someone was there to greet us which was a lovely touch after a long drive up. Extremely well stocked kitchen and lots of books and magazines lying around. Wasn’t tempted to turn on the TV during our four night stay. Flexible check out made it a great stay as there was no frantic rush to leave. Highly recommended 5*+

A beautiful place to stay at in the countryside! The Parlour was so cute and rustic inside and very comfortable. Ann was a responsive host and we took her recommendation for a nice walk along the nearby lanes. Altogether a lovely stay.

This was a cute cozy place in Newport. The place was clean and odor free, clearly well maintained. Parking was easy as was check in. The beds were some of the best I’ve slept on in Ireland! The kitchen had most the stuff we needed to cook but could use a few additions, there was no Spatula, tongs, cutting board, salt) The bathroom had no hand soap and the shower was finicky. Beautiful bathroom though. Great place and I’d recommend!

A perfect, dreamy location with amazing views and the natural world all around you! A wonderful spot to enjoy nature, to enjoy water and to have friends and family comfortably around. A quintessential lake house in every sense. Would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous and magical spot.

Such a wonderful place to stay, private , peaceful and in such a gorgeous area! So much to do in the locality! Place was spotless, loved the extra touches and was warm and comfortable, we felt right at home and had a lovely sleep, thanks so much for having us stay ☺️ Also the donkeys are adorable and we loved making friends with them!

It was so nice to stay in an apartment for a couple of days. Liam’s place was exactly what I needed. It is very clean, had everything I needed, and easy to find parking. If you’re going to Clifden, stay here, it’s worth it.

This was for my mum & dad. Erika was so helpful to them from arrival to departure. She helped them with any questions they had. Which was a comfort as I live in the UK and they are in their 80’s The house was very comfortable, very clean and relaxing . Our stay at Caherduff was absolutely wonderful, the accomodation was 5 star, with everything we could have wanted, plus lovely homemade scones waiting for us on arrival, very welcome. Jennifer was most helpful, and checked in on us during our stay, to make sure we were ok. Would definitely recommend a stay here. A beautiful place in a great location.

Wonderful Apartment in fabulous and beautiful location. Brilliant quiet accommodation as a base for our car trip to explore the beautiful areas of Galway, Arran Isle and The Wild Atlantic West.

Very quiet comfortable apartment. Very comfortable beds. Slept very well. Loads of hot water. Very comfortable sitting room. Great parking space. Great restaurant nearby( Charlie's at the Tower) We booked this apartment instead of others mainly that it had an outdoor space but this space was dirty , practically inaccessible and lots of weeds( unlike in the picture) Just a note that you need to be able bodied to get into either shower We would return.

We loved our stay at Eamonn's place. It is set-up nicely with comfortable furnishings, a great shower, and many cooking amenities. It's an ideal place for a holiday. The location is beautiful - we didn't even need a car to get around. We were able to walk into Newport to the grocery store, flag down the 450 bus just outside of the house to go to Achill and Westport, and the Greenway bike/walking path was right across the street. You could even see Croagh Patrick from the house! Just a note for those working remotely to be aware that the WiFi is not currently strong enough to take Zoom meetings. Eamonn did his best to increase the speed, but it is just an issue with the Vodafone signal in the area (which should improve as their coverage improves/expands). Outside of that, we think it's a perfect place to stay. Eamonn and his family made us feel very welcome and we'd love to return sometime!
