Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Achill Island

Recently we stayed in Carme's place for two nights and it was a home away from home. The house is beautiful, spacious and cosy and it boasts a beautiful view of Croagh Patrick. I loved seeing the cows in the field while having my breakfast and the family sheep dog is so friendly. Thank you Carmel for your delicious home baked bread, jam and your farm eggs. It was such a lovely and welcoming gesture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will just have to come back!

We had a wonderful time on Achill Island and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Angela and her partner were always there if we needed anything and they always had helpful advices for us.

A great place for a week away from it all. The house is clean, warm and dry which are what you need on the west coast. Great location right on the lake but also close to Clonbur and Cong with lots of options to eat and drink a good Guinness. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great holiday. Good location, lots to do within walking distance. Very clean, comfortable house for for family of 5. Felt like home away from home. We would all happy go back. 😀

We loved staying in this house! There was plenty of room for our family of four. It was spacious, clean, had everything we needed, and was easy to find with Marion’s directions. I appreciated the extensive instructions for the appliances and specific instructions on where to find anything we might need. The privacy and beautiful views were wonderful and we hated to leave!! 10/10 I’d definitely stay here again!!

Absolutely perfect stay! The house was spotless on arrival — everything was extremely clean, well-kept, and clearly looked after. It was also very spacious, with more than enough room for our group of 12 to relax comfortably without feeling cramped. The kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas were all ideal for a large group. Couldn’t have asked for better — highly recommend. It was my second time staying and would definitely book again. Perfect for any occasion.

Highly recommend this beautiful house Lorna and Dave were fantastic hosts. The cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Our grandson had a great time with a full play room of toys and plenty of space to play outside. A wonderful stay. We would love to return.

A fantastic location with views in every direction, each very special and therefore never boring. A good starting point for several (hiking) tours. Get tips on this, too. Sun (if you shine) from morning to evening at or in the house. We have already decided after a few days that we want to come back next year. To relax and unwind one of the best accommodations I know. And don't worry about the driveway, is really absolutely doable and does not require a special car or a special driver.

Four of us enjoyed the condo for seven nights. Beautiful view, spotless accommodation, quality towels and bed linens, all we needed in the kitchen. Mary and Phil went out of their way to provide alternative bedding when the weather turned warmer than expected. Truly responsive hosts. We look forward to returning to Newport, a charming village in easy reach of a variety of towns and attractions. Don’t miss Westport and Achill Island. And the Grainne Uaille pub’s Thursday night trad music session is grand!

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

We had a great stay at Terry's, who was a super responsive and understanding host. The accommodation is perfect, simple and functional with a magnificent view of the sea. What a privilege to live in a place like this. Terry and his wife are charming, discreet and attentive. We will be happy to come back.

The weather was bad, and our host warned us that the accommodation was free an hour earlier. A big thank you to him for this follow-up and the welcome. The studio is peaceful, very close to restaurants and shops. The town of Clifden is close (30 min drive) to many tourist attractions. The discovery of Connemara while staying in Clifden was very pleasant.

Olivia sent us pictures of the house the day before arrival and exact explanations of how to find the house, where the key box is and so on. When we arrived, we were totally thrilled with the apartment from the first moment, it was furnished exactly as described. Very nice, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom happened to be exactly like our furnishing style at home. This immediately gave us a "feeling of home". The apartment was above average well equipped. There were several varieties of tea, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner - hand soap from Rituals, there were adapter plugs & hairspray, in addition a nice cozy wool blanket. We got to know Olivia personally on the day of departure and had a very pleasant and pleasant conversation with her. We would recommend the apartment and Olivia as a landlady at any time. We really enjoyed our time there.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. I loved the location which was an easy short walk to town and with a grocery store just a few minutes away. Myra and her family were wonderful hosts of who made me feel at home. I highly recommend their place!!

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s. The house was spotless, and perfect for our short trip.

Mary was so lovely and welcoming. She was easily contactable and so warm and friendly. We were keen to have a bit of privacy and she left us to our own devices to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location of the apartment is really spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub looking out on the lake was a real highlight of the trip.

Martin is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Great location short walk to town and the open air swimming pool

Danny was very welcoming and made myself and my girlfriend feel right at home. The place was very cosy and peaceful. Would stay again!

Absolutely amazing! Had the best two nights in the beautiful location wish we had of stayed longer. The communication was great between Erika and Garette anytime we needed anything they responded quickly and they had left a lovely basket filled with treats which I thought made the perfect touch😊

Excellent week spent in Niamh & Geraldines apartment. Very comfortable. Stunning views of the sea and mountains - restful and restorative. Lots of amazing bird and wildlife on the island with beautiful walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back 😊
