Lovely cosy place with everything you need and a few helpful extras like shower gel, blankets, tea, coffee and milk. Cottage was really clean. Loved the location as you can easily walk around. Claire was really responsive and helpful.

Fantastic place to stay with walks right out of the front door. Really enjoyed sitting in the garden by the river with a cup of tea, we even had a huge heron visit us! My husband fished the river and caught a trout so he was very happy :) A lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need for a restful stay, would love to visit again.

We just had 4 nights at Rokeby cottage, and wish we'd had more. It's a lovely place to stay, every detail pitch perfect; comfortable, cosy and very welcoming. The view from the back terrace, especially as the sun was going down, was gorgeous. Jon is a great host - responsive, helpful and friendly. He provided lots of really helpful info about a week before we arrived so we could plan some walks, days out and meals. The Hope Valley is beautiful. Lots of bigger walks within a short drive, and some even without having to drive at all. Lots of great places to visit in and near the Peak District within half an hour's drive. Lots of choice for eating out in Hathersage, most within 5 minutes walk. We'd love to visit again.
