We had a fantastic stay! The house and surroundings are beautiful! Marlieke and family are fantastic hosts. The house was stocked with everything you can think of and more, including drinks, snacks, cooking essentials, toiletries. They thought of everything! Marlieke provided toys and a play kitchen for our 1 year old, which he loved! We were so grateful! The place was very clean. Great communication from Marlieke before and during the stay. Excellent local recommendations provided also. We would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommend to other guests!

The accommodation is very good, the neighborhood is nice. The owner is attentive and immediately responds to requests. I would particularly recommend this place.

We went on vacation with the family for a week and we were very comfortable with Huibert. A very nice, large house, tastefully furnished and with a cozy garden and enough space for 7 people. It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. All shops for everyday needs are quickly and easily accessible. A large supermarket and bakery are only 5 minutes away by car. The communication with Huibert was very pleasant. All important information about the house and area was well described on an information sheet. We were very happy about the welcome gifts! We highly recommend Huibert's place!

Great place and host. 20-30 min away from downtown. Peaceful and quiet place. Outside area over the canal is beautiful. This is our second time here and we recommend it.

A great and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. With 8 people, we got along with the rooms and bathroom spaces. Pool was in our satisfaction!

We stayed with Marieke and Fedde for three nights and had a great time from the first moment! Before checking in, we got a lot of information that made arriving super easy for us. The apartment is quiet but still centrally located because Gouda is just opposite the canal. The house has a great garden, which the children immediately explored. The fact that we were able to feed the chickens and rabbits was twice great for the little ones. The house is very clean, the beds made and cozy, the bathroom itself still equipped with toys. But even without children, you can have a great time here, because Marieke and Fedde really have a feel-good facility❤️ I don't want to write too much here, so our conclusion: always happy to come back!!! Thank you for everything!!!

The house is idyllically located on an island strip and can be reached by boat. Bas introduced us to everything uncomplicated and relaxed and we had a very nice holiday in the house

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Beautiful converted school which is exceptionally child friendly. Metro was approximately a 5 minute walk and it took often less than 15 minutes to get downtown Rotterdam. Neighborhood seems up and coming with an excellent coffee shop nearby. We would stay again.

Sophie’s place was absolutely beautiful, it was perfect for our stay in Berkel. Sophie and her family were so nice, helpful and welcoming. It was very clean and in a great location and just perfect all around! We want to come back already!

We stayed in Jorrit's house for the 3rd time and felt very comfortable again. The weather was dreamy. The screens on the terrace door and windows were very pleasant, because there were already many mosquitoes on the road. A walk to downtown Gouda is recommended. It almost always goes along the water. I think we will go to Jorrit's house more times!

An ideal location for us to visit Rotterdam. Quiet street for a good night's sleep and close to the shop and center of Rotterdam. Tip: across the street from the apartment is a Brista bar with super tasty coffee.

Sabine’s apartment was in the perfect location for exploring beautiful Leiden and for accessing the train station for further travel. The apartment was bright, well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the street was very quiet. A great stay.

This was already our 4th time in the Lakehouse but will not be the last time! This place is nice and cozy and offers so much. The location directly next to the lake is wonderful and the house offers everything you need, including a fantastic kitchen. Wendy is a very friendly and supportive host and therefore communication is always a pleasure! ☺️

Great hosts, helped me find local places to eat and relax. Place looks just like the photos, super comfy living room and balcony to relax in the sun.

everything was perfect. spacious bedrooms. several bathrooms including 1 bathtub. very well equipped kitchen, large living room. ideal for a family or group of friends. the price seems to us to be justified in relation to the setting and amenities of the house. we did not meet the owner but we did well.

We stayed in the cottage for a weekend. As we entered the village, we were overcome by a sense of calm. The water, the boats, the meadows just wonderful. And all this just 15 minutes' drive from The Hague and Leiden, a prime location! The cottage was the icing on the cake. It was just refurbished, is very clean and is big enough for 6. The beds are nice and soft, slept very well. The garden and animals were on the private part, so we had no direct view of them. It was nice that we were able to take a look. We could send Stan a message at any time with questions. It was nice that he checked whether the self-check-in went well. We had some problems with the reservation of the weekend, but we could always count on Stan! A huge sense of hospitality. The attention on arrival was very pleasant. We had a great stay!

Joan's and Hans's place was great, beautiful views of the lake, and in a quiet area, we spent a lot of time outside, we were lucky and had extremely nice weather. It is so centrally located, only a short distance from Amsterdam, Gouda, Utrecht and Rotterdam. Joan was very helpful and accommodating, we could not have had a better host.

Anna was a wonderful host, very helpful, friendly and absolutely always there with local recommendations and some additional information. As I had too much luggage she kindly picked us up from the local train station and genuinely made sure that we are as happy and settled as we could be. It was really a very comfy house that basically gives you a hug as soon as you walk in. Bonus was the roof top terrace for lunch in the sun and a view of the mini ponies next door! With the bikes you can easily go food shopping and explore, everything is very easy to reach in several directions, let it be a quick shop or a trip down the road to the pancake restaurant. We loved our week there and slept like a dream in the double bed. Thanks Anna and Bart for everything you did for us :)

We had a wonderful time as a family in this beautiful house! Aya and Léna loved every corner, especially the mezzanine bed, which they renamed “the adventure in the stars.” A heartfelt thank you to Kim for her warm welcome, kindness, and availability throughout our stay. We’re leaving with great memories and a strong desire to come back!

The space was exactly as shown in the pictures - tastefully and kindly decorated and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything, enough crockery and cutlery available. The apartment is located in a quiet area with lots of nature around it. Rogier was friendly and responded quickly or inquired about us in between.

It was a very cozy house and everything you needed was there! The location was excellent. Coranne was also a very pleasant host. We would definitely like to come back here!
