We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

How we have affected it at Tenuta Verde. Monica and Daniele are hosts pur sang. Everything has been taken care of down to the last detail. Warm welcome on arrival, a welcome package that will let you through the first evening and morning. All the previous rave reviews are completely true. Tips about the area what to do next to the big sights and where to eat and buy the best ice cream. Warm personalities who are always there for you. Daniele even came to bring homemade wine twice, delicious. The house is so nice "coming home" after a long day away. Wonderful the tranquility in the garden and around the house. As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Thanks Elisabetta for a beautiful stay in Volegno! It was wonderful to be in the mountains in a small village with a short hike to the waterfall in Pruno, and see the glow worms in the evening. Of course! Here is the revised version with the addition to the environment and the wish to come back: ⸻ The accommodation is in a quiet, idyllic area and is perfect for switching off and relaxing. The house was clean and the kitchen equipped with everything you need in everyday life. Communication with Ilaria was always friendly and uncomplicated – everything worked out great. The highlight is the large, very well-kept garden with many different plants - a really beautiful, green paradise. The pool makes the whole thing even better. We really enjoyed our time there and would be happy to come back!

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Nice host and sister who welcomed us. We had to hand in our bags long before check-in. And also check in much earlier. Everything you need at the property. All the amenities. In addition, the accommodation is even better and much more original than the pictures tell. Super happy, the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed in.

Stay well beyond our (already high!) expectations! Emanuela welcomed us in the best way and we immediately felt at home, her textbook hospitality really won us over. She was an impeccable host, always available and very kind. The accommodation is a splendid estate immersed in the greenery of the Tuscan countryside, perfect for those looking for an oasis of tranquility in contact with nature. The photos really don't do justice to the house, which is very spacious, and the beautiful garden.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved Federica’s place. We were able to cook meals, do laundry, and re-charge for the next adventure. Very easy to explore Pistoia from here. If you bring a rental car just know that you’ll have to park in a public lot. We parked in a free lot that was a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend!

Very nice apartment, nicely decorated with a very large terrace with jacuzzi and possibility to sit in shade. Great for cooling off after day trips. It was a wonderful place to stay. Baker, vegetable shops and a few small supermarkets nearby and old center of Lucca within walking distance. Nice shower and good bed. Great air conditioning. Free parking a few hundred meters away and also possible in front of the door for a fee.

Me and my family absolutely loved our stay, the host is super friendly and helpful! The location is beautiful and calm and the airbnb itself is very spacious and has a lovely interior with a lot of personality! there are little decorations and paintings everywhere. We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! The location is great—peaceful and close to nature, yet easily accessible from the highway. The green area around the cottage is beautiful and perfect for kids to explore. Our 2-year-old son absolutely loved getting closer to the rabbits that live around and walk through the vines—it was such a special experience for him. The place was clean and cozy, and we felt very welcome. The host’s mother received us and was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. A perfect spot for families—we’d definitely come back!

Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. We felt very comfortable and had a nice time :) The accommodation absolutely matches the pictures and the description. It is spacious and well equipped, with small snacks and drinks for the first day! The large pool was open, so we could swim a lot. In addition, a large gas grill is available for grilling. Our host Riccardo was friendly, helpful, was always available and even inflated a hodgepodge of bath toys for the pool for our children. A great little bakery is three houses down. Otherwise, you need a car to explore the area - but I think you should inform yourself about this in advance. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from the neighbors. Due to the dogs and small children, we sat up in bed several times late at night, as it was really very loud. After three nights, we got used to it.

Beautiful apartment with breathtaking views. We will be returning. Sillico is a fairly remote medieval village with a great restaurant which also has a shop/bar and exceptionally friendly owners and staff. There are a number of accessible signposted walks.

We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!

Magical villa that was just perfect for our group of 4 couples. We appreciate that Lisa allowed us to book so early in the season. This is such a fantastically unique home! Loved, loved, LOVED walking through the old section. The bodega was so convenient. HIGHLY recommend Casato Maria Clarice for a special prix fixe meal. We so enjoyed learning how to make cheese at Caseificio Bio Reggiani. Visiting the Spilamberto Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Museum. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.
