Pictures don’t do this place justice, went during the hottest month and A/Cs cooled the rooms, pool was helpful and clean save for a few leaves but that’s inevitable. Kitchen is fully stocked even with a blender and coffee. Loved my stay here, would stay again!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. It is such a peaceful place to be, with an exquisite pool and a gorgeously appointed house. Jeff has created a genuine oasis and I can’t wait to return. There are fantastic restaurants nearby in Valladolid but we hardly wanted to leave the house, as it was such a delightful place to be. (The kitchen is excellent too.)

This was a gorgeous house! Beautifully decorated and has everything you needed. The pool was a life saver as it was so hot! I texted the owner because the pool was getting a little dirty (inevitable with trees around and I skimmed everyday) and they sent someone over right away! They were also super flexible with check in and check out. The neighborhood has amazing restaurants- elevated healthy food choices. Can't wait to go back!

Casa Abuela is a beautiful home and Anthoni helped us have a wonderful vacation. He was responsive and very informative. The locals are friendly and the location/area has a home-like feel. Even though there were insects, it was easy to manage as long as we kept the house clean as instructed. The privacy in the backyard and having a private pool was just the cherry on top. What an incredible stay! The house is exactly as described- directly on the sea. Every morning it was calm as glass until 11:30a- could walk 60+ft out to a sandbar. It’s a small beach but you can walk along the coast to collect shells/look at the other beach homes. AC is only wall units in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms- it was warm in the afternoon or when cooking. The upstairs unit couldn’t keep up so we slept downstairs instead. But nothing to worry about. Spending each sunset on the rooftop was our highlight. And the pool when it was windy in the afternoon! Add 2 cholorine tablets daily to keep the water blue. Chelem is a tiny charming town. Chedraui in Merida and Progreso are best for groceries. Try Pescadería Cristo Rey IN Chelem- there is a Cristo Rey in Chuburna but it’s not as good. Plan for takeout- we had the best camarones ceviche and pescado frito. Also book a trip to Isla Los Columpios, ojo de agua, and Playa los Carbonaras! We already want to come back!!

This accommodation has everything you need to visit Progreso! It is a sufficient accommodation for 5 people and with amenities that make you spend great vacation days (pool, pickleball court, barbecues...). The whole family had a great time, very comfortable, very fun! In addition, the accommodation is only 2 blocks from the beach (2 minutes walk). Special mention to Kurt, who is always very attentive and kind, as well as Joaquín (his assistant), who is also very kind and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again! Tip for easy location: one street from the INE and two streets from the Scappata hotel.

We stayed only two days in Mauricio’s place because it was only a short visit in Progreso. The condo is very nice, well furnished and supplied. The neighbours are nice and the place is quiet. There is a nice pool and a rooftop patio with a nice view, shaded area and a nice breeze. There is a convenience store nearby as well as a few nice restaurants with a varied offering of dishes. We recommend this place for a nice stay in Progreso.
