Beautiful place to stay if you’re looking to explore the Tonomi/Hofu area! Would highly recommend it!

Mark and Mae are excellent host with very good English. This made communicate easy, they helped us when needed to work with other as our Japanese is very basic. They were thoughtful, helpful and tried hard to make sure we were comfortable. The place is as described and peaceful. We enjoy sitting in the morning sun in the white chairs and walking the neighborhood. Great stay!

This was an absolute wonderful place to stay with two adorable goats (Yuki-Chan and Mochi-Chan)! We extended our trip to Iwakuni so we could have another night at the Goat House. It was a great deal and I highly recommend it to anyone coming to visit the area. The path to the house was well lit for our nighttime arrival and the instructions were very clear. The house was a very comfortable traditional style Japanese house with beautiful tatami rooms and comfortable bedding. Iwata-San was a polite, helpful, and very wonderful host!

We enjoyed our stay and run amidst a serene and beautiful surrounding. The host has also provided information on watching fireflies which was a rewarding and unforgettable experience. Aside from a warm welcome by the whole family, we also love a full array of kitchenware for our use, which was very helpful.
