We loved our stay at Ryu’s home. They arranged to drive our suitcases to the home while Ryu’s father showed us the walking route. Everything was explained to us and lots of local recommendations available in a binder. Great location in between heading into Hiroshima/peace park and Miyajima Island. We had an amazing time at both. Lots of restaurants and a big mall close to Ryu’s. Beautiful home and super responsive host. Thank you Ryu!

Very nice place in a quiet and calm area. Beautiful old japanese building. Takashi is a friendly host with good english skills and acommodated us perfectly on short notice. He was happy to help us with a booking on a japanese website. The dogs are cute and friendly, but be prepared find dog hair on the bedsheets, even if the rooms are not accessible by them.

Yuto is such a warm host! The house has everything and is spotless. It is spacious and comfortable inside and has a charming garden. We borrowed Yuto's bicycles to go around the neighborhood. We rode along the river and the fields, and visited a few shrines in the mountains, and I was not surprised if I met Totoro. Everywhere is so beautiful, and locals are very friendly. I got a flat tire at some point, and Yuto came to my rescue immediately, which was so nice of him. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it if you love nature and want something authentic away from the city.

I would highly recommend this place, truly amazing and was a magical experience! The host was by far the best we have had, she was extremely helpful and kind, offering to pick us up from the bus station and take us to the supermarket when she heard we were having a bbq and also offering to drop us off when we were leaving. The night of our stay we messed up and forgot salt/pepper and soy sauce so we asked if there was a shop we could walk to, the host offered to drive us to the nearest store than said her husband could drive over to drop off their own personal condiments from their home even though it was Saturday evening. Truly generous gesture. The house itself is beautiful and tradition, the bbq and outdoor bath were our favorite which made for a magical night. If you are looking for a traditional and quiet stay away from the city’s this is the perfect place to relax. Thank you again to the amazing hosts for taking care of us:)
