Monthly Rentals in Xera Xila

Maria's accommodation is located in a small village that is not touristy, if you are looking for calm and authenticity it is the ideal place. So of course we searched a little but a resident of the village kindly took us there. Apart from the apartment being very good, our hostess left us plenty of food and we thank her again for her rather exceptional generosity.

We were very warmly welcomed by Marinas and Aristea's parents. The apartment is simple and functional, everything was very clean and we found a plate of fruit in the fridge upon arrival. Located in a beautiful garden. Beach, tavernas and a small supermarket are a 10-minute walk. The communication was very warm, we were allowed to pick lemons in the garden and the parents spoiled us with Greek coffee and homemade cake. Many thanks to Aristea and Marina for their hospitality.

Beautiful terrace and lovingly designed garden, small functional apartment with air conditioning, kitchen equipped with everything incl. Stove and microwave. A few steps to the sea and delicious restaurants. Gladly come back.

We absolutely loved Yaya's Cozy House! It was a great location for us to do day trips from, with many beaches are near by. The towns of Kritsa, Elounda and Agios Nikolas are easy drives. The small village is very lovely and peaceful with groceries and bakery a very short drive to Neapoli. The house and garden is exactly as pictured and has all the amenities. Nikolas even brought us fresh mint and eggs! We highly recommend this place if you are looking for something off the beaten path and don't mind a bit of scenic driving!
