We had the best stay at the Sandpiper House with Karen and Cameron as our hosts. Super tidy house with a great view and we were also spoiled with complimentary breakfast during our stay 😊 we had an easy check in with an even easier and simple check out. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Robert was a fabulous host as he was responsive and helpful. The house was ideal for our 3 generations to stay as it was homely and had enough space for everyone to co exist. We could relax and enjoy the place without worrying about the house being too pristine to move. Great family getaway. Thanks Robert.

Beautiful house, great interior design. Very comfortable. Had everything needed. Family of 5 with young kids and house was perfect for family and good location to access the beach. Amazing we could bring our dog. We needed garage access which this property had. Couple of things to maybe be aware of - we didnt pick up in the listing (unsure if I overlooked) :Train runs 1x house away really reguarly and continued through the night -potentially disturbing. We specifically seeked a house with a pool and paid extra for this. Aim was to hang around pool for the weekend. But pool was cold and only 1/5th of us could go in and tolerate it. For us this spoilt our weekend plans and we felt we paid extra for something we couldnt use. If we had known we would have paid less for a house without a pool. This for us did spoilt our trip, kids were disappointed. But this may have been listed and overlooked, or our fault for not asking, and was specificaly a need for us- you may be different :)

Staying at this Airbnb was truly a five-star experience — better than many hotels I’ve stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with thoughtful touches that made us feel completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. There were plenty of fresh bath towels, cozy linens, and every essential you could possibly need. What made it extra special were the generous snacks — biscuits, chocolates, and little treats that made us feel so cared for. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and unwind instantly. The hosts clearly put a lot of love and attention into every detail. Whether you’re looking for a luxurious stay or a cozy escape, this place offers the best of both worlds. Highly recommended — I would absolutely stay again!

Hongxuan is the best I’ve had so far!! Very quick and prompt in responding, friendly and helpful. Images of his home is not justified - it’s a lot better in life!! Everything is squeaky clean and absolutely loved the clean & fresh linen and towels. Beds are so comfortable that we didn’t want to get out of bed. Loved every moment here and would highly recommend this place!! Would definitely re-book on my next trip. Special thank you to Hongxuan - you had been amazingly helpful from the moment you confirmed our stay. House was lovely with plenty of space. Host was extremely good to deal with. There was an issue with the heating and the host was onto it immediately after we contacted him. We had a large group and had a wonderful stay.

The best Airbnb experience that I’ve had by far, the home is so spacious, immaculately cleaned and thoughtfully curated for guests. I really appreciated the small touches like the makeup remover pads, cotton buds & floss in the bathrooms. Beds and linen were clean and so comfortable, and all appliances were great quality, we felt right at home. Communication with the host was fantastic. Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely be back again!

We stayed there during Easter. The accommodation was really big with three large lounges, big kitchen area, good interior and quality furnitures. Hosts were really responsive and helpful. It definitely was a good stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Andy and Tanya’s place. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The house was thoughtfully prepared and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils and appliances we needed, which made cooking for two families so much easier and more enjoyable. The space was very clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Every corner of the house reflected a warm, welcoming vibe. Check-in and check-out were seamless, with clear instructions that made the whole process stress-free. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the effort Andy and Tanya put into making the home family-friendly and comfortable for guests of all ages. We’ll definitely be recommending this gem of a place to our family and friends. Had a great experience. It was relatively clean and tidy. Toilets were well equipped. Neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet. There are hidden gems around the area such as the observation tower, wetland, parks and playgrounds. Only issue was that the oven did not heat up properly after multiple tries. Would recommend.

My family was happy to have picked Rachel's unit. The place was what it looked like in the pictures. House was very clean and no funky smelly. Bedrooms were comfortable. Toilets and bathtub were clean too. There were some toys provided and that helped entertained my kids a little. We had an enjoyable stay here and would pick this unit if we were to visit Melbourne again. Thanks for hosting Rachel!

Long was a fantastic host. Always available and responded to any questions very promptly. His home is a welcoming, comfortable “home away from home” when travelling. I would definitely recommend Long’s home. We will be back.
