Approx. 10 miles/25 min. from University of Notre Dame & Amish country, this rural apartment is our finished basement that we reside over. With own private walk-out entrance from back of the house, unit includes 2 BR's (one very small), full bath (shower, no tub), kitchen/family room & laundry room. Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

It's 1 mile from Goshen College, 45 minutes from Notre Dame and 25 minutes from the Amish town of Shipshewana. The cottage is beside a fruit, nut and berry orchard and gardens. It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

This TINY studio is located in an old 4-unit apartment house, so there is some in-house sound transfer. Our neighborhood is usually quiet, but not always. See the LOCATION section under the map to check if our neighborhood is suitable for you. No smoking indoors or out. Memorial Hospital 3 blocks, Notre Dame 2.5 miles, downtown 1/2 mile. 8 minutes to SB Airport and 80/90 Toll Road.

Stay in our redecorated entire upstairs level with pass-coded private entry to come and go as you please. Queen bed in the primary bedroom, a double in the second bedroom. (2 cots can be set up for any youth). Full bath with tub and shower, TV room with Kuerig, microwave, mini frig, and back wood’s view. Relax on front porch. Short walk to Fairgrounds and Pumpkin Vine trail. Close by places to eat. Notre Dame is 45 mins away. Shipshewana -40 mins. 60 miles to Lake MI. 3 hr drive to Chicago.

Stay in our studio apartment suite with private exterior door entrance. Hosts live in the rest of the house. From the backyard you can fish, kayak/canoe, SUP rental $10, enjoy a bonfire, grill, and relax by the river. There's a new king memory foam bed, sleeper sofa, and 49" TV. Remote work friendly with spacious workspace desk, fast WIFI, and coffee. The closet has a mini food prep area with mini fridge and microwave, and grill out on back patio. It's a quick 15 min drive to Notre Dame.

We loved our stay at this air bnb. The owners were so nice and caring! The setting is so beautiful! We stayed here after my sons baseball game. They had bunk beds too for my kids. Great place to stay. It's clean and has everything you need. It's just a regular house which is great! This is a beautifully furnished and homey apartment. Old fashioned and very much to my taste. The place was spotlessly clean and even smelled clean, which is high praise coming from me. If I ever find myself in this area again, I'd definitely try to go with Quality property. Lydia herself was so very kind to me. Way above and beyond anything you may hope for in a property host. I will never forget anything about my trip, especially my interactions with her. Definitely consider this property if you're travelling to Mishawaka.
