Cottage holiday rentals in Wrightsville Beach

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

I have booked multiple Air BnB’s this by far has been the best experience. The home was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The snacks were an added bonus and perfectly picked! If you are considering booking this DO IT! Board games and books are available. Kristy has equipped that house with exactly what you need to enjoy time as a couple or with children.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

Our family loved this house and location - plenty of room, easy walk to the beach, tennis courts out back, friendly neighbors, easy access to restaurants and stores. Jim was responded quickly when we asked for help with supplies. The spring pollen factor was high - so be ready! We washed the decks and chairs and that improved things. We will return!

I absolutely adore this cute little beach house. It was a perfect best friend get away. I felt like I was staging in a beach cottage straight off hgtv. My only suggestion is a full length mirror for the females! Definitely would stay here again.

Mallory & John were both very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating to our check in needs and questions throughout the stay. The home was clean and well equipped. Perfect for my family and only 10 mins from the beach! The kids loved the pool and backyard space for fishing, running around and relaxing in the hammocks. My only suggestion would be to pack bug spray for the back yard since you are near the lake (the mosquitoes loved us!) and to be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride into the neighborhood as there are many potholes in the gravel road leading up to the house. Not a complaint and not the hosts fault of course. Just want to help! We would stay here again :)

Firstly, this house was absolutely perfect!! We comfortably fit 5 people and had plenty of extra space. The house description was accurate, all the amenities were there and worked great. The host was very kind, responded quickly, and showed much hospitality. The house is about a 1 minute walk to the beach and conveniently surrounded by restaurants and stores in short walking distances. The house comes with a beautiful outdoor seating area and has lots of games and books for the guests. Just in general the house has a very cute aesthetic. One downside however, which is completely out of the host’s control, is that there were a few roaches in the outdoor space, but from what we’ve heard that’s an issue in the general area not just this house. All in all, would highly recommend this house and we would love to stay here again!!

My husband, son, daughter-in-law, and two family dogs had a wonderful weekend stay! The back garden area was perfect for our furry family members, and we felt very secure letting them out to explore. The home itself is lovely and filled with beautiful artwork. You can tell this is a space where tons of beautiful memories have been made. There is lots of space and light inside from both windows and skylights. The location is very close to the main oceanfront street and public beach access areas as well as to town. We loved the screened in back porch as well…perfect for early morning coffee and quiet reflection. The owner was wonderful with communication. We would definitely return to this location and highly recommend for dog owners.

Everything was so nice and Andrea was very responsive and respectful! Any concern that she has was quickly brought to my attention and dealt with. She was very kind about everything and my group had the best time!

Great spot and great location relative to restaurants, shops and the beach. It’s a low key place without many frills but does the trick. Also somewhat setback from the road which makes it feel secluded and quiet. Only downside is only 1 mirror to help get ready for events like a wedding.

Cheryl is amazing the hostess with the mostest! 😄 We love staying at her sweet cottage and we have done it for over 5 years now! Cheryl is even going extra beyond the call of duty thus year and shipping my package that I accidently sent to her beach house instead of my house! 🙈 (had something delivered during vacay and forgot to change it 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) Our vacation each year at Cheryl's beach cottage is perfect and peaceful, highly recommend to everyone! Just don't take my dates 😜

Tim’s place was very cozy, comfortable, and clean. Everything was exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

We had a great week at Jill’s place! We brought our two pups with us and they enjoyed the fenced in yard. We liked the convenient location and short walk to the beach. The place had everything we needed. When we had a problem, Jill was quick to respond and addressed the issues immediately which was great. Made our stay so much better! The only thing I’ll note for future renters is to keep in mind that you’re on the bottom floor with other renters above, which means their footsteps can be very noisy at times. We had our infant with us who goes to bed early and naps during the day, so we were very aware of the extra noise. But other than that, it’s a great spot and we would love to have Jill as a host again!

Beautiful home in a great location. Plenty of room for all of us to sleep and bathrooms for us all. I loved the decor and we had a wonderful stay. The house was also walkable to everything I wanted to see. We definitely plan on staying again sometime!

Mickell was a wonderful host! I booked super last minute with kiddo and service dog in tow. She accommodated us with no trouble! Place was wonderful, beautiful and quiet area, easy access for myself and kiddo, fenced yard, and lots of towels and such ready for us! Absolutely recommend for a great beach stay!!

The perfect vacation spot! House was updated, clean and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the wrap around porch and accessibility to the beach. Quiet part of the beach, but still walkable to shops/ coffee etc. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at the lake cottage with my 3 year old son and we had a wonderful time! We loved the fairy garden walkway to the front entrance and the cottage itself was beautiful! It’s impeccably clean and an inviting space. I also very much appreciated the complimentary coffee station and my son enjoyed the lollipops! We stayed the night after enjoying a day at the beach in Wrightsville and went out to dinner in Wilmington. It’s a short drive to the restaurants in Wilmington - plenty of dining options to choose from! I absolutely recommend the lake cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful stay that is conveniently located to the beach and downtown Wilmington! We’ll definitely plan another trip to come back! Thanks for having us!

This was the perfect place for our girls trip! It is just across the street from public beach access and a very short walk to restaurants and shops. Ashlie’s place was clean and everything was just as described. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was exactly as describe. Nice property, very clean, with zero issues. Caroline was great with communication, very fast to respond to all questions. One step further, I had left clothes in the dryer, realized it after an hour drive home. Caroline told me she would have the clothes mailed out to me. Wonderful host!!

The place was perfect for our little get away. Was clean and comfortable. Great selection of board games. Close to beach and restaurants.

We had such a wonderful weekend in Southport! The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. Southport is such a charming town, and this Airbnb was the perfect place to enjoy it. The park across the street even had live music on Thursday night that we could enjoy from the porch! Would absolutely stay again! Cannot recommend this place enough!

The Captain’s Hideout was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kristi and Ian were great hosts. They were responsive when we asked questions, gave awesome recommendations for beach access, restaurants, etc. and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend staying there when visiting Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach!
