Everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, spacious room, private bathroom. Beds really comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children on a visit to Holmfirth to see my best friend. Simon was so helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. He ensured everything was set up for us including an extra bed for the children, fresh bread on the side, and milk in the fridge. Also loved the fresh coffee available. Our kids loved running circles around the the flat and Simon even made a point to say to not worry about the kids running around as his children even loved doing that when they were young. So it was very nice to be in a family friendly place. Even the fresh tulips on the table made us smile. Thank you Simon for a lovely stay!

I stayed at the Snug as I was at Whit Fridays brass band competition. The snug is warm and welcoming with a beautiful scent at the entrance porch. Really nice lighting and furnishings, over looking the garden, comfortable bed and lovely new bathroom. Mary is a great communicator and I feel if I wanted more information about what to do in the surrounding area she would have elaborated on suggestions re hiking, cafe and restaurants already available. She let me store my bike in a safe place. I would love to come back to the snug, it’s got lots of extras that make it feel loved

I had a lovely stay and felt warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Host Emma was very helpful, which I especially appreciated as I was feeling a bit flustered after a long drive. Her thoughtful hospitality made all the difference. It was a wonderful surprise to find the place stocked with milk, eggs, crumpets, teas, jams, biscuits, and even a Terry’s chocolate orange—such a kind touch, and I really needed this after arriving late and too tired to go out for food. The bed was very comfortable, and the whole stay felt cozy and relaxing. There’s a lovely little seating area just by the window where you can enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful views of the hills in the distance. The location is also excellent—just a short walk into town and only about a 6-minute drive to great walking spots in the hills. Highly recommended!
