Holiday rentals with lake access in Windham County

Matt's Airbnb was a wonderful place for us to get away for a long weekend! The house was lovely with all the comforts of home. We loved so much about this house, especially the layout. All one floor, which was great! The mudroom was great for bags and boots, the kitchen was well stocked , and the living room was amazing- very comfy large sectional sofa for relaxing, a nice cozy little sun room to hang out on and read a book. Having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were the perfect size, and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. We loved the outdoor space for grilling and walking our pups. Very peaceful neighborhood and wonderful little town with great restaurants! Matt was so nice and helpful with any questions that we had, and even offered us a later check out which was nice! We loved this part of VT and hope to visit again soon! Thank you Matt for being such a great host! We can't wait to book our next stay!

Quiet, cozy place to stay. Plenty of beds for our extended family to stay for the weekend. The lakeside location would be great for summer. We came in the fall, but it was lovely just to sit on the deck, have coffee, and enjoy the scenery. Kitchen is fully stocked. You’re less than 10 min to downtown Wilmington. Hope to stay again.

Very welcoming home, amenities were a great way to entertain ourselves during the night while kids were sleeping. The spacious living room, dining room and kitchen were an absolute dream! Would stay here again!

Brian was very helpful answering questions whenever I had them and he responds quick. House was as described, clean, and beautiful interior. It can comfortably fit well over 7 people with lots of spaces to chill and relax! Not lots of places to eat around here so you might want to plan for cooking your own food, and they do provide a variety of pans and pots you can choose from! Great Experience!

We've just been gone a day and I already miss this place. It was a beautiful home in the Green Mountains on a lake with mountain and sunset views. Now we want to come in the fall for the fall colors. It has a large yard, has privacy and we felt very safe. All 3 bedrooms had full bathrooms and outdoor space/decks with views in each room. Lots of outdoor space in general. The house and property were so great that we really didn't want to leave to do anything. We did take advice of a prior guest who mentioned downloading the directions ahead of time. Our Verizon coverage had some limitations in the area, but the home wifi was solid. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkey and the geese/goslings. It was so fun to watch the family of 13 (11 goslings) and another with 3 goslings on a daily basis. The dock by the lake is a great spot to chill out, use the kayaks, etc... We enjoyed taking day trips to cute towns, exploring the area and just relaxing. Love this place!!! Highly recommend.

Steven was a great host. My friends and I booked here for the weekend to go skiing at Mt Snow, and this was a short distance away. Our room had a spot in the hallway to place skis and boots, which was convenient for our stay. Our rooms were clean and the whole place was exactly like the photos. Steven was quick to respond when we had questions and was very generous to provide a bigger room for our group. Overall Steven is a great and caring host who shows pride in taking care of the lodge as well as the guests that stay there.

Beautiful location, great host! We loved the hot tub and the proximity to Magic Mountain. We will definitely be back!

We had an incredibly relaxing long weekend on the farm. We loved admiring the mountain view from the hot tub! Hoping to come back again soon. Also, don’t miss out on Robert’s glassblowing class just 8 min up the road!

We had a great 4 day stay at Nina’s place. The apt is exactly as pictured and described on Airbnb. The space was a nice size, the furniture comfortable with the bed on the softer side, really good Water pressure in the shower, good amount of kitchen ware To create breakfast and lunches and light dinners. We loved the proximity to town and yet how quiet the place was, and there is a river directly in back. Nina was very prompt in responding to questions and gave us great recommendations for hikes in the area. There is a great bookstore and a number of really wonderful gift stores with Vermont artist’s works a block from the apt. And about a mile down the road starfire bakery with truly amazing baked goods. Make it a priority to Go there and try lots of things! We really loved our stay at Nina’s place and hope we can return in the fall or winter.

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. Overlooking a lake in a peaceful location, this was perfect for a small group looking for a reasonably priced Airbnb to stay while skiing at Mount Snow. The location was cool and I can definitely see this house being great for warmer seasons as well. One thing that stood out was the clarity of instructions provided by the host. Both the description of the property and what to expect, and the check in/out instructions are very accurate and helpful.

This peaceful retreat is tucked away near a beautiful lake, offering a secluded and serene escape. However, getting there requires a steep mountain drive, so be sure to have a reliable four-wheel-drive vehicle. Unfortunately, due to the harsh weather conditions, we found ourselves stuck on the mountain for most of our trip. Despite this unexpected challenge, Emilio and his maintenance expert, JP, went above and beyond to assist us. Their responsiveness, kindness, and dedication truly made a difference, ensuring we were as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. We are incredibly grateful for their help and hospitality, which turned a difficult situation into a much more positive experience. If you're looking for a remote getaway with attentive hosts, this is definitely the place to be!

The cabins were terrific. We had three cabins as a group. They are across the street from Spofford Lake, which has a small beach and a dock. We had a terrific night hanging out on the beach while lighting a fire in the pit. We had a great visit at Copper Cannon Distillery (located down the road) and went on a few hikes.

We had a lovely time at the Library cottage, sitting on the porch, walking the grounds. Nice to spend time right on the beach that has Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Our host Ali was always available and helpful. The bunk bed layout was a surprise, but worked out fine. We’d love to come back, maybe even in the summer. Thank you Ali for a welcoming stay.

We came to town for a wedding and had a fantastic stay. There are multiple cabins situated next to each other, which would be perfect for a couples' trip.
