Cabin holiday rentals in Windham County

I was looking for a stay at a quintessential Vermont cabin with modern amenities and this fit the bill perfectly! It was cute, tastefully decorated, private, and had great amenities. Definitely pay attention to their directions regarding saving information and instructions before leaving cell service because cell service disappears. The cabin was private and located in a serene area, but only 20 minutes from Manchester and an easy drive from Bennington or White River Junction (we did both). HIGHLY recommend both location and hosts! Host was even kind enough to invite us to a local concert.

It was wonderful from the first contact and the last, very polite, the place is wonderful, a peace, and very beautiful, cozy, the whirlpool is sensational, it's really worth getting there, I hope to come back more often! It was great

Amazing stay right on the stream! Dog loved it. Hot tub was incredible. Very peaceful and calm weekend away! Great for any season.

John was an amazing host. Everything was like the pictures. He had binders with things to do around the area, which was amazing. He had trail maps and board games. The sauna and hot tub were both great and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for any family for a relaxing time. The loft was a nice little hiding spot. Plus it was only a 12 minute drive to Jamaica State Park with amazing views and right down the street from Stratton Mountain. I will definitely be booking this again!!!! It was an absolutely amazing weekend with an absolutely huge outdoor fire pit for the whole family!! The kitchen has everything you need just bring food. Towels and sheets are included as well and an absolutely beautiful view from the dining room table!!

Absolutely great place to stay Ben was a great host and I really appreciated the way he had everything laid out and straight forward. Would absolutely go back anytime. If you want to get away for a peaceful relaxing time it can’t be beat. Cooking a great meal in the awesome kitchen then being able to relax in the hot tub

Great Cabin to have some friends or family with and to get away from surburbia. Enjoyable hot tub, outdoor and indoor fire pit and a deck to be with all guests. Adequate sleep set-up for familys. Would stay here again!

my 2 best friends stayed the weekend for my 30th and it was amazing, a dream home, so very peaceful. all of us are moms, and this place was so relaxing and we will definitely be back. Christina even left a bottle of bubbles which was just what we needed. she is an amazing host

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat into the woods. This is a quaint, quiet retreat that provided us a relaxing getaway from the city. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and a beautiful stream. Inside, the projector makes for awesome movie nights. The kitchen provided everything one would need. The bedroom is good, but be mindful of a large step up to get into bed. This place isn’t for the faint of heart if bugs aren’t your thing. Came across a bit, but friendly spider and our dog picked up a couple of ticks. Nothing the hosts can do and they provided tick spray. The hosts are super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. You can’t ask for a better host honestly. Great place, highly recommend!

Becky is a fantastic host! She communicated with us very clearly and in a timely manner. This cabin is in a very private location that allows you to connect with nature, all while still in the comfort of a cozy cabin with a smart TV! The place was very tidy and smelt great for a smaller space with a composting toilet. The lack of running water was not an issue for us, as we were still able to do things like wash dishes and brush our teeth with the resources Becky provided. When it came time to leave, we were stuck in the snow and Becky and her husband did not hesitate to help us. They got us out of there in no time! We will definitely be visiting the cabin again.

Beautiful house, perfect for our family retreat. After another host cancelled on us last minute, we found Brian's place and were very happy we did! Brian was very responsive to our needs, and was very helpful throughout the weekend. the kids loved the game room, we set a new record on the Pacman machine. We made s'mores on the front porch in rainy weather, and visited some of the local breweries nearby. We were very pleased with the home, and it was perfect for our long weekend.

Ideal cabin in the woods for a secluded forest getaway - well stocked kitchen, and the outhouse is 10/10. Very responsive and helpful!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was lovely! The house is clean and cozy. Great location by the river — lovely spot for an evening fire and morning coffee. Well stocked with kitchen essentials, towels, linens, etc. Thank you! We will be back!

Julian’s home felt like just like your own. Comfortable, clean, with all the amenities. We loved being able to have a fire in the fireplace to warm up after a cold day skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed, great laundry set up, the kids loved the shower and bunk beds. We’d love to stay again!

I came here with my family for a winter getaway in Mt Snow and we felt it was comfortable for 5 adults and a great location. The location to the mountain is a short drive or a quick 10 min walk. The house has a nice cozy interior and Preston was very responsive.

This cabin was gorgeous , cozy , yet roomy. There wasn’t a single thing missing. Everything you could think of they had. Even extra toothbrushes and tooth paste! Carefully thought out , elegant , comfortable, private and very well equipped. This isn’t a rustic experience as everything is modern but honestly it was sort of the best of both worlds. Isolated, surrounded by woods but still very comfortable and clean. Equipped with Dish washer, washing machine and dryer and, Modern stove. Highly recommended!

They definitely have put a lot of thought in supplying everything you can think of needing in an Airbnb. It was unexpected but well appreciated. The home was very cozy and clean. The only suggestion I have is that the bathroom showers and floors could use an update. Otherwise, my family enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay here again if we can. This was the cutest, coziest place for our Stratton ski weekend. The cabin is beautiful inside and out, very comfortably fit the six of us, and was equipped with every amenity you could need. Also sparkling clean. The hosts were lovely and highly responsive. We are looking forward to coming back in summer and fall!

We were looking for a getaway romantic weekend while there was still a little bit of winter going on. It was a very cozy place. The kitchen is very well equipped as we both love to cook. We had an absolutely great time.

Bear Tracks Cabin was an amazing stay. The decor is incredible and the place was stocked with pretty much everything you could need. You could tell a lot of love and effort went into it. The area was wonderful too, with lots of good shops, trails, and restaurants around, not to mention amenities right on the property. There was a nice mix of everything, and I would definitely stay again!!

We had such a great stay at the House of David over Memorial Day weekend. The house is tucked away among beautiful mountains and rivers, and honestly, it felt just like staying in a cozy cabin inside a national park—but with all the modern comforts you’d want. Everything was spotless and welcoming, so we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The inside has a really nice vibe, with lots of natural touches that make you feel connected to the outdoors, but you still have all the amenities you need. The basement game room was a big hit with both the adults and the kids. The screened porch was another favorite spot; it was so nice to relax outside without worrying about mosquitos. Since the house is on a private road, it was really peaceful and we didn’t have to worry about cars, which was great for the kids. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole place was just immaculately clean. We made wonderful memories here and would love to be back!
