Lovely cosy well equipped lodge for family of 4 & cocker spaniel. Lodge was clean & had a comfortable stay. Great location on site & lucky to have nice weather to sit out on decking. Good facilities on site & heated pool was fab. Short walk to Brockhole & good location for drive to Ambleside & Grasmere Would recommend. Thankyou

The lodge was in a beautiful location over looking the lake. It instantly felt so homely and was well equipped with everything you’d need and more; down to the paddle boards and life jackets Charlotte allows guests to use on their stay. Charlotte was a fantastic host and send me a lengthy email weeks before hand with useful information. great tips, places to visit and more. I would definitely love to return to the lodge again soon.

A stunning interior and gorgeous views. Zero noise pollution. Nice and spacious for 2 guests; plenty of storage space which doesn’t take up any unnecessary room. I absolutely loved the vanity I’ll be taking notes for my own house! Host Nathalie was super friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t change a thing, for sure will return!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

Staying at the Burrow felt like being on a peaceful retreat. The accommodation itself is really cleverly and beautifully designed and had everything we needed, along with a lot of thoughtful touches. Having our own corner of the field felt luxurious, and we loved sitting out on the decking and watching it get dark from the wood fired hot tub. It was spotless and we felt really looked after. We appreciated being able to walk from the door without having to drive, and the bespoke OS map was really handy for finding a route.

The boat house was a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings! Adam was a great host and his responsiveness to messages was spot on. We loved the fact we could bob along the lake on a Pedlo at no extra cost! We will DEFINITELY be staying again soon.

A beautiful, modern cabin with everything you could ask for and more! All the little touches were amazing and the hot tub was a hit! Perfect location and a 10 second walk to the Lake which was lovely in the evenings. Host responded really quickly and everything was smooth and easy. Would definitely return and worth the money! We had a lovely couple of days away here. Despite a local power-cut before we arrived, there was great communication and offers of help to ensure we had all we needed if the power didn't return to the park. We couldn't have asked for more helpful hosts. Accommodation was spacious enough for our 2 nights with comfy beds. The outdoor furniture could do with a little refresh, and the decking didn't get much evening sun, but there were other quiet spots across the park we could enjoy what little sunshine we did have!

lovely bank holiday stay the lodge was perfect, clean, tidy modern the outside seating area was great. The site is very peaceful and 2 great pubs in walking distance. Bowness about 10 min drive away

Absolutely loved our stay at Jennifer's place. Was a last minute booking to celebrate a birthday and finding this place available was perfect and on top of that we were so lucky with the weather. It's been a long time since visited the lakes and never had the weather so good. Jennifer's place had everything you could possible need, it was clean & homely and felt so comfortable. It is furnished so beautifully with great attention to detail, beautiful pictures around the home and the kitchen was so well equipped. Jennifer the host was happy to help with any questions. Thank you Paul for a lovely stay! We booked this place to celebrate my 31st birthday and my sons 1st birthday and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake District. Paul was incredibly responsive when I had a query about the use of amenities on site, it is worth noting though that whilst you have access to the pool it is at a charge of £7.50 per person and it isn't open all of the time so you book into a 45 minute slot to use it. Booking for the pool can be done on the day, though. Other than that, a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend Paul's place to others wanting to explore Windermere and would definitely return again. Thank you, Paul for a lovely stay! 😍

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Lodge. It had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday. It is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The location was perfect and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

It's a cute little cabin with good location near Ambleside and Windermere. Necessities are all present and cabin is really cosy. Only downside was difficulty locating the cabin after entering the holiday park but otherwise we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend others.

Beautiful Lodge, very clean and homely! Alma was really responsive with messages and checked in when we first arrived, very kind! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous airbnb in a great location!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay! The caravan was perfect for our family of four (plus our dog) — cozy, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail, especially for our pup — treats, a towel, and even a blanket were waiting for her. It was so heartwarming and showed how much care went into everything. Our host was amazing — Sam sent us great recommendations in advance for places to eat and things to do, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The fresh flowers and duck food left for us were such a lovely surprise — it truly felt like a personal and welcoming experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, pet-friendly getaway!

Jacks lodge was very clean, quiet and cosy. It’s also had everything you could need in there. Also Jack provided clear instructions on the location of the lodge as there are a few. It’s a good location to the Lake District and perfect for walkers and dog owners. My dog loved the lake and walk by the beach which was within 5 minutes of the lodge. And lake Windermere just an hour away. I would love to visit again sometime.

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

I would have liked a black out blind on the door to pull down at night because I like a completely blacked out space to sleep in. Realise this prob not an issue in the winter but birds are awake at 5 am in the summer time . Lovely place felt right at home and walk into bowness got easier everytime esp on way back. 😂👍🏻thank u

The Moon Cottage was just great. From booking, to staying and departing it was blissfully easy and they were so friendly! They kept in touch incase we needed anything (luckily we didnt) and always responded very quickly to answer a few questions we had before we arrived. The cottage was just beautiful, it was absolutely spotless and decorated quirky and cute 😍. There was everything we needed and more to really make ourselves at home. 10 out of 10 we would recommend to stay at the Moon Cottage. If we are ever back in this area, this will be the first place we book !

I was partaking in the 10k swim at lake Windermere so Paul’s place was the perfect location. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Paul Lodge might have inspire us to get our own one in Scotland 🙂

Wonderful stay at Badger’s Way. We had a delightful four nights at the lodge. It was perfect for our needs and has great access to the fells directly from the site. I did a lovely seven Wainwright fell run directly from behind the pub. We didn’t see the badgers but that’s fine but we know they were there as the peanut butter sandwiches vanished every night. Highly recommended to all. Perfect lodge

What a lovely place with such wonderful hosts! If you're looking to escape deep into the countryside, this is the perfect spot. Nestled in the middle of a field, the charming pod features two bedrooms, a combined living, dining, and kitchen area, and a separate toilet and shower just outside. Surrounded by scenic views, with beautiful walks through the meadows and along the lovely river nearby, it’s a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The hosts — Brenda, Mum, and Dad — were warm, welcoming, a pleasure to chat with, and very helpful. Instructions were clear, and communication was always prompt. We had such a memorable stay - we couldn't recommend it more!
