Guest house holiday rentals in Wilmington

The place was as advertised and worked well for our needs. All amenities were well met. The kitchen served nicely as it had induction stovetop, convection toaster oven, microwave, full refrigerator, and kuerig coffee maker. Bathroom was clean and access was good. She had outdoor lighting triggered for night time arrivals and comings and goings. The bed and furniture was more than adequate. Shower was spacious and well stocked. We had initial slight concern about accessing through the backyard, which we were told the dog used, but we only saw the dog once in our 3 day stay and it was quite calm and kept to it's own business and did not intrude upon us in any way so a non-issue in our opinion. As senior retirees we would stay here again and felt comfortable and safe.

Our honeymoon was magical mainly because of the kindness from Susan and Scotty! We felt right at home (especially because of the friendly orange kitty, Goldie 😉). We were so close to the beach and it was amazing to come back after a long day in the sun to the beautiful apartment! Hosts truly were the kindest and sweetest people! We will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here! ❤️

This was our second stay and Candy and Dan were great as always! They go above and beyond to make sure ur stay is great! They have coffee and creamer, a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. They leave bottled water and lots of snacks! Dan has helped me unload and load the car both yrs that we have stayed with them which I appreciate tremendously! The cottage is a couple min walk from the ocean or u can go up one block and cut over for an access for wagons. It’s in walking distance of the Kure Pier and all the restaurants. The cottage is one room but it’s huge! It’s plenty enough space for a small family or a couple! They have nice patio furniture and loungers to hang out on the patio. They also provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap! If ur lucky enough to catch the cottage when it’s open u should definitely book!

This was SUCH a cute and perfect space. It is very clean, in a wonderful/safe neighborhood, and close to everything. I would highly recommend this spot. Donna is very responsive and a wonderful host!

Very close to everything downtown yet was able to just relax in the peaceful surroundings. Very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Would definitely recommend.

Sarah was a very attentive host! She gave us great local recommendations and was always responsive. They even replaced the record player so my teens could listen to them. Would highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Siri’s place! It was exactly what we were looking for. The location was between downtown and the beach. There is a coffee shop within walking distance and the street reminds me of my childhood.

Jason’s place was a great little place for my husband and I to stay at while visiting Wilmington. Clean and comfortable with a cute little check in basket and note. The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet with sidewalks for walking the pup. Pretty close to downtown Wilmington so that was nice. Jason was quick to respond to recommendations for food/ sights. We enjoyed the porch and people watching at night. Would stay here again.

I spent 3 nights at Adam’s place while dropping my son off at UNCW. It was the perfect location. This room has everything you need to enjoy your stay. I was pleasantly surprised to even have a washer and dryer! Communication was great as Adam got right back to me when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again when I come and visit. Thanks Adam!

We had a great weekend stay here! The place was easy to find and in a convenient location. Both beds were comfortable and it’s quiet at night. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. We were able to adjust the thermostat ourselves and felt right at home, especially with Piper outside as our greeter!

Allie's place is a gem ! Allie was very welcoming and kind. The guest house was so nicely decorated, clean and had a great atomosphere. Allie provided snacks and beverages in the kitchen. She had lot of special touches that added to our stay. Lots of dvd movies, a great stereo system, comfy couch and bed, amenities in the bathroom, quality bathroom towels. We felt right at home and thoughly enjoyed our stay and pool time. Its a special place and you can tell how much effort and care Allie put in to making this a very restful place to recharge.

Our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. The space was very clean and relaxing. Our hosts were prompt and accessible when we had questions. We would definitely return when in Wilmington.

Beautiful house! Worked perfect for me and my wifes vacation! Really enjoyed having the stock take pool right out side our door. Look forward to staying here in the future!

Christi's place was a perfect weekend getaway! The pool house was spotless & super charming. So appreciate when hosts include plenty of extra towels & blankets. Robes were a nice touch + the pool & outdoor shower were an extra special plus for this area. We walked or biked to the beach access & restaurants to get around. You really don't need your car once you arrive unless you want to go to a more elevated restaurant outside of Carolina Beach. We hardly did any research on CB before arriving & loved the casual nature of everything but took our car out one of the nights for dinner. The beach bikes & the bed could be upgraded but overall the other perks of the accommodations outweighed this & we would recommend Christi's place.

We were in town helping our son move into a new apartment and needed a place to stay that was central in Wilmington to where we would be and this place was perfect! It was impeccably clean, instructions were clear regarding parking and check-in, and it was decorated really well. We would definitely return to stay here again!

Really enjoyed our first stay in Oak Island, and staying at the Black Pearl was a big part of it! Amy thought of everything when she planned out this space and stocked it. From the free bathroom amenities (literally everything you could forget, shave cream, Tylenol, lotion, the list goes on) to a very well set up kitchen and living area. It may be small, but it never feels cramped because of the great layout and high ceilings. The bathroom feels so luxurious with the smooth stone floors that make you feel like you are showering on a riverside. The guide that Amy provides to OKI is expansive and basically planned our whole trip for us the moment we read it. The location is great, about 15 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to many restaurants, shops and places for sweet treats. We will come back if we get a chance!

My fiancée and I stayed at Mark’s place and were less than 10 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park, and our gym (Crunch Fitness). We also enjoyed our trips to Wrightsville beach just about 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. We had a blast and it was a great way to celebrate our engagement.

Ginga, Oz and Roxy are wonderful hosts! We stayed for a full week. It was so nice to come back every day and have a lovely quiet and well equipped place to relax and read a book, and we both slept so well here. The location is convenient to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Everything is taken care of and if you need Ginga she was so helpful with any question but otherwise they are very respectful of your privacy. But they are such good people we found ourselves wanting to say hello! Highlights were Mr. P's and Provision Company plus swimming at Oak Point! For theatre lovers the Brunswick Little Theater (nearby) is a fun evening of community theatre run by an all volunteer staff. We would be lucky to stay here again. Thank you Ginga and Oz. It was a pleasure.

Verrrry cozy and very nice place to crash after checking out a bunch of places at Wilmington. Everything was spotless and neatly organized when I arrived. The host was very friendly and quick to reply!

The Caddy Shack was literally perfect for our stay and an ideal location for what we wanted. The beach was 10 minutes away and anything we wanted to do in Wilmington was only 15 minutes away. The house is cozy and we loved the fenced in patio for our pup with the tv and lights. (the golf game they have out there is addicting! Lol. ) Blair was super nice and responsive for any questions I had. We will definitely be back!

This place is a Gem in a country setting. The luxury is in the soft close cabinetry, the leathered granite, the plentiful lighting, the comfy beds. It has everything you need to explore Coastal NC. The deck has elevated-comfortable!- Adirondack chairs made of recycled plastic for no splinters. The sunrises are beautiful from the deck with a fresh cup of provided coffee. The birds and squirrels chatter and the forest smells amazing. There’s no road noise. The guest house is immaculate, the kitchen is stocked and well appointed with good knives, spices, oil, mixing bowls, pots and pans, glass containers for storing food… anything you’d need. Corelle type plates for food safe and break resistance. There’s a large farm sink and disposal. I just cannot believe how at home I felt with all of these touches. I could have stayed for weeks. My hosts were very responsive to my questions. I will be recommending Ross and Abigail’s place to my friends and family.
