Monthly Rentals in Willingham

What a lovely country house. Adam, the owner is very communicative. Room was fully functional with microwave, kettle, iron etc (no safe). Lovely view of the large garden from the window. The old House itself is being renovated at the moment with the main rooms being in a wing to the side. The is a kitchen to use in the house with cooking and laundry facilities. I nice lounge is available and there are small conference rooms (two I think) for meetings. This is a work in progress but don't let that put you off - this was a lovely place to stay for a very fair price. The accommodation rooms were refurbished and modern. I spoke to Adam and it is clear he has visions for the main house and gardens. We used it as a base to visit Ely and Cambridge. The House has no restaurant or bar - it is basically a room with tea/coffee/microwave facilities, but a very usable, fully featured communal kitchen which is very clean. We were so lucky to find Mark's Apple Barn for an extended period whilst our kitchen and bathroom were being totally refurbished. The accommodation was great and felt like home. The four weeks just flew by. Great to be pet friendly too - Our dog enjoyed making friends with Mark's dogs. The location was great for dog walks too, with the orchard a few minutes walk away. The facilities were excellent - our teenage daughter enjoyed the en suite :-D We would totally recommend staying at the Apple Barn.

We had a wonderful stay, it was peaceful and relaxing. The property was clean and welcoming, with useful information at hand. It had everything we needed and was just right for visiting family in the area. It was great that we were able to take our small dog with us and had some lovely walks in the area.
