The unit is just as it appears in the pictures, being fairly spacious and having good natural light. The bed is medium firm, and the A/C unit is in a good position to keep warm sleepers like me cool. The water pressure is good, and the kitchen is well stocked with plates and cookware. The location is excellent, close to shopping and restaurants at Box Hill Central, and only a 10-minute walk to the train and tram. My only complaints were that some parts of the unit had not been cleaned well before I arrived (management offered to send a cleaning crew and said they will monitor this more closely in the future), and the Internet connection could be spotty at times (an issue for me only because I was working remotely for my job back home). Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again.

The Black Cockatoo is by far the most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed! From the warm greeting on arrival, the thoughtful treats left for the whole family, the warm and cozy lounge room, insanely comfy beds, amazing shower to the gorgeous decor throughout the home. This newly and beautifully renovated house was situated on a lovely street with cafes just down the road. Nick was available throughout the trip if we needed anything! 100% recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Nick

This is the second time we've stayed at Helen's place and we love it! Spacious home with all the amenities one could want, clean, great location, quiet, and best of all nice fenced yard for or furry child to run around. it is our go-to place for accommodation in Melbourne.

everything was very good. the house is but older but it was clean and well presented. the parking is enough. the house is quite big and bedrooms are good size. very good for group of families.

Lovely large house in a very convenient location. It is an easy walk to Union Station to get into Melbourne CBD or to any of the sports venues. Also close to coffee shops, bottle shop and supermarket (Coles) in Union road. Comfy beds. Our 2 girls felt at home in their own rooms. Basically, was a lively stay for us. One little thing is there is a garden supply place further up the street that can get loud early in the mornings. But we were fine and is the other side from the kids’ rooms. Loved our stay and would look to go stay here again if/when we go back. Oh, nearly forgot, James was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. Thanks!!

Shanil and Olivia were such great hosts, they were super responsive and lovely before and throughout my stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, spotless, and had everything I needed for a solo trip, I also felt really safe as the building has fob access from the main door and also in the lifts so there are only residents allowed inside. The view from the apartment is amazing too even in the rain and it would also be perfect for a couple. The building has a shared gym and pool, both really clean and well maintained, which was such a nice bonus. Location-wise, it's not far from the high street, train station, and local shops, so really convenient. It can get a bit noisy throughout the day with windows open but it wasn’t an issue with windows closed and AC on. The evenings are really quiet and there are barely any cars around. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully will be back again!

Conveniently located, opposite to Victoria Garden shopping centre and close to Richmond train station. Small 1-bed apartment just enough for 2 people. Overall good choice for a quick stay in Melbourne

One of the best Airbnb’s that I have ever stayed at! Booking was easy & straight forward. The hosts were professional, helpful & super nice. The apartment was immaculate; the decor was aesthetic, clean & well maintained. And of course being right across from Westfield & Anytime fitness, was a huge bonus! Will certainly be staying here in the future.

We had a great stay at Tanglewood, we were visiting family on the area. Lovely place well kitted out very peaceful and tranquil and a good size. Roslyn is lovely and a great host. We would definitely recommend and return

We loved our stay at this apartment. Check in was easy and the instructions were clear. Good location, lots to choose from restaurant wise and Cole’s/woolworths within 100m walk. It was a quick stay for us but definitely still feel at home. We all everyting we needed. We love the English design of the property. Patricia was easy to communicate and replied instantly. There are some really nice restaurants just walking distance from the place. Happy that there is a carpark on the property. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Caroline’s house. The entire house is spacious and very clean. It contained everything we needed and more. The location was great and short drives to different shopping centres and dining. Caroline was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again for next time we visit Melbourne.
