Cabin holiday rentals in Wharton State Forest

Amazing. The home was as described. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay with our pet and highly recommend.

We went for our honeymoon, wanted somewhere secluded, fun, beautiful and it definitely was all those things! We had such a blast! We laughed so hard playing darts, basketball, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and foozeball. We had a fire, soaked in the hot tub, sipped coffee on the deck in the morning and wine at night, staring at the trees and listening to the birds. The inside was cozy, charming and comfy. Plenty of stuff nearby to do, Sweetwater Grille provided a savory, memorable dinner and Batsto village had so many trails and the historic village there was so interesting to walk through! So grateful we chose this place!

I thought it was one of the best homes I have stayed in. Tom was AMAZING with his responses and easy to talk to. The home had great touches everywhere that showed a well-thought-out stay for visitors.

Our family of 8 had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Despite being tucked out of the way, the location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We recently stayed at the Bridge House at Swan Lake Resort. We really enjoyed our time there. It's a beautiful, comfortable, well decorated home that has stunning views of the lake. There's a large wrap around deck that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the views. The kitchen is also quite large and has beautiful, state-of-the-art appliances. We were in town for a wedding and the location of the property made it very easy to get to the venue. We would definitely consider staying there again if we find ourselves back in the area.

We loved Swan Lake Resort! The house is right on Moss Lake where you can watch the resident black swans, white ducks, and Canada Geese (and their goslings) morning, noon, and early evening. It's a very peaceful spot. The resident's of the community are very welcoming and we even had a drive-by by Melinda, community resident and Paradise House housekeeper, on her golf cart. This stay was with family so we weren't opposed to the shared single bathroom, which connects to the two bedrooms (aka "Jack & Jill" bathroom). It worked out just fine. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Smithville. Thank you!

I absolutely loved staying here! I don't live too far away, however if was so nice to get out of my normal routine and spend some time relaxing in the peaceful environment swan lake resort has to offer. definitely want to come back in the summer since it's so close to the beach towns!

My third time with Swan Lake and I find the location, prices, and cabins perfect for my needs. Very clean (not spotless), great kitchen with lots of counter space, comfortable beds and pillows, uncluttered, and in a quiet location. It's a little tricky to find, so make sure you use the map of the sites that they give you and not GPS, which is not accurate there. Host was very responsive to my questions. Convenient parking right by the door and just a few steps up onto the porch to get in. Nice layout inside. I will return!

My family and I, along with our two dogs, stayed at Dan's cabin. It was the most peaceful trip that we've taken in a long time! Dan's description of the cabin and amenity's was accurate. It you're looking for a bougie home, this is not it, but if you're looking for a secluded and peaceful environment where you can unplug, this is it.

We rented William’s home for about a week, as we were packing our home and needed a comfortable place to stay with our toddler prior to our move. William’s home was cozy, peaceful, and child-friendly. My toddler loved being on the lake and waking up to his “quack quacks”, typically referred to as ducks. William’s home was a great temporary home for my family, and we plan to book again when visiting family in the area.

The beautiful lake... the birds... the trees.. what a gem for nature lovers! Bill's chalet was exactly as described. The location was private and peaceful, yet only 10 minutes from the super-cute town of Hammonton (we highly recommend Marcello's Trattoria). The home was clean, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Bill is most definitely a Super Host; he was not only responsive, but proactive as well. He thought of everything! Thanks, Bill!
