A unique little lodge which was thoughtfully presented and lovely Little Place where can just have peace and quiet.

Super apartment, extremely comfortable bed, great kitchen/living area. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. Couldn’t fault it in any way. Will definitely try to book again when I’m working in the area. Well done Martina, 10/10 !

We stayed here as we were helping my son with his first house and we felt very at home. Sarah, our host was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The property although attached to the main house was very private and quiet. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was everything we needed to hand and a very large parking space as we travelled up in my van. Although we didn't get time to really look around the village much as we were busy working we did find it very quiet and tranquil compared to home. Sarah recommended the Ship Inn to us which is a 5 minute walk away . We went to eat there one evening and I have to say I can highly recommend the food especially if you are hungry as the portions are very generous, they also have a great range of real ales ! To sum up ! Sarah was a great host , warm and friendly and very helpful and the property itself very clean and comfortable and I would rate it 11 out of 10 . Thank you Sarah for a lovely few days . The location and the lodge is breath takingly good. so private and peacefull, the perfect place to unwind and recharge. the lodge is modern but homely Paul and Debbie have gone above and beyond with the little extras and accessories they provide. the lake is beautiful and the grounds surrounding the lodge are full of wildlife and perfectly kept. we can't wait to return.
