We felt welcomed and had the coziest stay with friends and our little ones that had all the space to roam around freely. All the basics are already there and more. We had a very memorable time. This beautiful “cottage” offers some of the best views possible in Plett. Between the views and the comfy and practically designed facilities, we really had a lovely stay. The kitchen had everything you could hope for and a bit more, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Our only issue would be the lack of proper barbecue facilities, but that isn’t everyone’s priority, and with the choice of restaurants and shops near by, there are a lot of other food options.

within 5 minutes we were on a most beautiful beach. We enjoyed sitting around an exquisite wooden table on the patio adjacent to the kitchen teh beds are extra long and very comfortable. Thank you Paul and Nicolaas for a comfortable stay

Wow. This seaside cottage is simply amazing. Its charming, homely and authentic, nothing grand, nothing fake, nothing ostentatious, but tastefully decorated (the attention to detail is perfection) and with everything one needs, ample plug points, extra comfy blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The fireplace creates the perfect ambiance for winter days and cosy nights. The ocean view is magical. Sitting and reading while listening to the ocean on an extraordinary long builtin couch was pure bliss. We were lucky to have two beautiful sunny days despite it being May and used the fireplace area at the back for a family braai which was more affirmation this house is perfect for every season. To us with all its character and charm this is the quintessential South African beach cottage..

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

What a wonderful and beautiful stay. As a mid-week breakaway from daily routine, this was the perfect place to work remotely (with reliable, fast Wifi), whilst also being able to relax and regenerate (the views, location, relaxed atmosphere). Communication was also super thorough and I appreciated the warm and welcome approach. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

What a stunning home! I will definitely be back to visit this house, my Charlie baby had plenty of garden to roam around in and explore and we felt very comfortable in the home which was immaculately decorated. You can tell these people love this house! the views in the mornings were so breathtaking we woke up at 5am every morning to watch the sunrise over the bay. The only thing is that it was very noisy from the settlement over the hill but nothing the host can do about that. 10 out of 10 in my books! I cant wait to come back!

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

Words cannot describe the location of this property. Literally ON the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Private and tranquil. Honestly just felt like heaven when on the deck by the pool looking out over this setting. A little jealous that I don’t get to live there. 😉 Absolutely stunning.

I had a great stay at this place! It was very clean and well-organized. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which I really liked. The host was super helpful and friendly, always ready to give good suggestions and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay with Lisa & Ivan was very memorable! We loved the cosy tiny house, which had everything one needs for a great stay. Easy walkable access to the beach and the few restaurants in Scarborough was a big plus. The surroundings are breathtaking! Lisa was very helpful with questions we had. We are very glad we found this little place.

We had such a lovely time! The place was incredibly clean and tidy, which made settling in so easy. We especially loved how peaceful and secluded it felt — the quiet surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. It was cosy and comfortable, just the way we enjoy our getaways. This spot is a perfect winter staycation, and we’d definitely book again!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

A truly beautiful place to stay. We went as a family of 5 (2 boys and baby). The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and plenty to do if you are looking for an adventure walk. The bon fire pit and the outside bath was the highlight of all our time! The sleeper couch was especially cosy by the fire place when it was rainy. We will definitely be back again!

Our stay at Brett's was peaceful, we got to spend real quality time as a family. The board games kept us busy and we were almost, always together. If you are looking to get away from the stressors of everyday life look no further than Brett's. The cabin is beautiful and neat, Brett is kind and communicates well.

Easy check in. Private, quiet and a beautiful view. Fast internet for those who need to work remotely or are traveling.
