Overall, we loved our stay at Sophie’s place. Her and her husband are both super nice and very helpful. The studio is as listed - very cute, clean, and perfect for what we needed. The view is even better in person! If you are staying here, having a 4WD car is a MUST! Make sure the rental car agency actually gives you a 4WD or you will not be able to make it up the driveway. It was one of the steepest roads we have ever tried to drive up and our car struggled because it was only 2WD. But, Sophie came running to our rescue and she even offered to drive us down to our car the morning of our departure since we had all of our luggage. We had a great time here and loved the view!

From start to finish our experience with Ann Marie and stay at Ataraxia Cottage was fantastic! Ann Marie was incredibly communicative and responsive from the start, providing (extremely helpful!) guidance on getting on the car ferry in St Thomas and where to meet her to get to the cottage. The cottage itself was a dream - literally, we slept like logs on a wonderful mattress every night after busy days hiking and on the beach. The cottage provided the perfect haven for our stay - the kitchen is equipped well for small meals, beach chairs and towels provided, and we barely needed the AC - the ceiling fans were enough! We would and will absolutely return to Ataraxia and Coral Bay - slightly off the beaten track and still so easy to reach all parts of St John. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandra’s villa. We had all the comforts of home and she was very responsive to our questions and needs. She also gave us great advice regarding local transportation and local sites. You won’t be disappointed if you stay in the lovely villa. It’s a beautiful place with a great host.

Meade was very accommodating! If you want a hassle-free experience with friendly folks, you can't go wrong with this booking, and Meade was helpful by meeting us at Souper's hole in the West End. We really enjoyed the stay....will be back!
