The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

Semi Rural. Access to our property is via a Private Road and secure gates, there is plenty of room to park. Our private suite has access via the back of the property. Here you have a patio to enjoy stunning views over the countryside. This idyllic setting is perfect for couples or those on business. Situated in the South Hams close to the Ocean City of Plymouth and on the edge of Dartmoor an area of outstanding Natural beauty. Note; Transport is essential we are not on a local bus route.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Set in the Tamar Valley National Landscape and Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, with views of Cornwall and shared use of our garden. Our peaceful private annexe with electric car charger is the perfect comfortable base for exploring Dartmoor. Set in beautiful gardens it is a relaxing escape. For Dartmoor adventurers, we're within a few hundred metres of the Two Moors Way walk and the Dartmoor Way cycle trail. We're ideally located for exploring the historic stannary town of Chagford, its independent shops, lively pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Located in a secluded, elevated position between the moors and beaches of North Cornwall, it is perfect for a couple of nights away or a holiday. We have been welcoming guests for 9 years now although for the last 12 months have hosted a Ukrainian family who have now returned home.
