Fred’s place was exactly what I needed. Very well laid out and furnished. Excellent shower- always important. Beautiful garden. Great view. Plenty of parking.

Susie is the most welcoming and friendly host. On arrival The Swallows is a very pretty cabin in lovely surroundings. Just right for myself and my little dog, with everything we could need for the week. I can not emphasize how relaxing, sitting and listening to the birdsong was. A very clean and comfortable place to stay with the most delicious chocolate brownies. The Swallows is in a very handy position for North Devon and into Cornwall so a lot can be seen. I was visiting my friend in Clovelly and it is very handy for that. I will be returning again very soon. Well done Susie, lots of love Tracey & Taffy xx

We had a really lovel stay here and Mandy is really pleasent. Everything was just perfect could not fault nothing. So we thankyou very much Mandy I have just booked again for August for a longer stay. 🙂

Myself, my partner, our two children (7 & 10) and our dog have just returned from the Rowan Lodge, it's in a great location to explore the coast. We especially liked Appledore (The Beaver Inn pub is great, rock pooling at low tide) and Instow as it was perfect for the dog and kids alike. The kids did enjoy the 2p slot machines at Westward Ho too (good for an hour if the weather is bad!) The lodge itself is clean with amazing views and had everything we needed. Loved the quirky parts of the decor too. We stayed for 3 nights and would not hesitate to book here again for a short trip. Thank you to the hosts, Kevin and Tracy, who left some lovely treats on arrival.
