Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Walton County

My family and I came from 4 hours away. Mid-drive our original booking cancelled on us and it was already 9pm. I requested a booking with Noveline and informed her we would be arriving around midnight. She was extremely helpful and responsive. My family and I were very appreciative of the flexibility allowed. Furthermore, we loved the home! It was beautifully decorated and felt very homey, free of clutter and very clean. We will definitely be staying here again if presented the opportunity. If you’re thinking of booking this home- do it! You won’t regret it.

Great little place, right next to downtown Monroe, but on a quiet street. Can walk to pretty much anything you would want or need. An adorable house that was very clean and inviting. Friendly neighbors. An overall wonderful experience.

Mia solved every concern that we encountered and could not have been more helpful. This home was beautiful and provided a place for us to relax and enjoy visiting family in the area. I would definitely recommend this destination to others.

Aba is very responsive to any requests, needs, or recommendations. This was our second time and he has definitely become a fan favorite and a home away from home for us.

We had such a pleasant experience during our stay at the Mystic Falls Inn, or as we like to call it, “Caroline Forbes’ House”. Very spacious and open areas. The beds and couch are very comfortable. The shower was quite heavenly. I love that the property is so private and secure; even with the many TVD fans coming by to look and take pictures, the tours did not impact our stay. We appreciated the binder filled with pictures and addresses for the locations of other TVD character homes and landmarks. And we absolutely loved and appreciated the coffee selection. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this experience more.

This was my third time staying at the Hideaway and my first time booking on my own and not as a guest. Amanda made the booking process easy and ensured we had a great experience staying in our home away from home and exploring the town. She and Katherine (yes, THAT Katherine) provided an unforgettable experience full of fun and surprises. Amanda’s attention to detail surrounding the vampire diaries universe coupled with her impeccable customer service create an experience that cannot be beaten. Already planning the next trip!

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed for a convention and the OHCO was walkable as well as the square! great location, clean, and exactly like the pictures. would stay again!

I love staying here. I come into town about once a month, and I try to find this place whenever I’m planning a visit. Perfect for a short stay.

Marilyn was amazing and myself and my fiance were extremely thankful for her generosity.... We needed a late check-in time due to us having to attend a late event and with the weather we arrived an hour later. The location was easily accessible and so comfy and felt just like home... And then when we were exhausted the next day and wanted to relax before getting on the road she accommodated our late check out.

Katrina's place was just as it was described! Nice, quiet neighborhood, clean, nicely decorated accommodations, everything we needed. From the soft, fluffy towels to the comfy beds, her place was charming. We would stay again. Highly recommended!

This stay was well worth the trip. Not only was it located on site of one of my favorite tv shows, but everything inside and out was extremely beautiful. The middle bedroom gets really hot but that’s more of a preference thing on our end. All of the furniture was beautiful and comfortable. Renee answered anytime we needed anything, which wasn’t much. 10/10 WOULD recommend.

We absolutely loved this home ! Our host was so awesome too! We came down for a wedding from New York and after a long drive this house was so clean, spacious, convenient and soooooo comfy. The pool was very very clean and the garden around it was so beautiful and neat. It made a beautiful background for pictures. Our host was very helpful , kind and very fast at replying. 100% recommend staying here !

Let me start this place was absolutely beautiful!! I have stayed in many bnb but Ive never been in one so setup I literally felt like I was at a relative guest house it was equipped with everything literally on down to deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush in case you forgot your own. I traveled with my in-laws and they have knee problems she went as far as to send a a picture where they can access the apartment without the couple steps. While we were there we accidentally broke a couple dishes offered to pay she turned it saying accidents happens I forgot to mention the games, the snacks and a cabinet full of seasonings to cook. Oh yeah we was looking for something to do she has a notebook full food and activity places if you’re looking at this place don’t hesitate to book her response time was almost immediately every time

Shirley’s place was lovely. It was exactly like the listing. It was easy to get to, all instructions were clear, and it was incredibly cozy.

Really nice place for two. Very clean, great communication with Gina. Very nice lakefront views from the expansive balcony.

Very responsive and if not Ms Ginny her associate would. Had an internet problem but was the city’s issue , Ms Ginny diligently worked on the problem, recommend the stay not far from downtown all things very accessible, very nice place!!

Excellent stay. Everything was clean and as described. I was highly satisfied with the location to downtown. My son was staying near campus for an event so going to and from the kids hotel to the Classic Center was super convenient and fast. All appliances worked and the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to cook and clean up. The beds are super comfy and, while I’m not really a stay in and veg kind of person, it was rainy and cold so was grateful for a TV with a gazillion available channels and streaming options. Will definitely stay again if in Athens.

I have stayed at several of the condos at the lake club, this is one of the nicest and has a great view. I will definitely book it next time.
