Holiday rentals with lake access in Wallington

This stay was exactly like we thought it would be. We wanted a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and a lot of beds and room which is exactly what was shown in the online pictures and also experienced in person. We thoroughly enjoyed the open plan living area and the outside area made it so we could enjoy the good weather.

Great spot for a family holiday. The property itself is far enough away from houses for children to run around and be silly (including using the play equipment and tennis / basketball court), but near enough to towns and activities to keep everyone fed and entertained. The kitchen was also unusually well stocked in terms of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning place, very close to the pier, well maintained place, surrounded by beautiful local restaurants and cafes. We can see that Carli put lots of effort into this wonderful place.

To explore a part of Geelong that we had never been to before was extraordinary and the house was so charming

Our weekend away was amazing and it all started with our accomodation. We all had a great time and enjoyed the free space. Communication prior to the day was great and we couldn’t have walked into a cleaner home. Thank you very much once again :)

We adore the house at Sanctuary Lakes. The lake view with sunrise is stunning, the surrounding environment is quiet, neighbourhood shopping centre within 3 mins drive, the list can go on and on. The house itself is also spacious and clean. Annika had been helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was a wonderful 4 nights stay!

We really loved our stay. The location was excellent and the house was comfortable. Our children and adults and were so pleased that every bedroom had a comfortable bed, not bunk beds. Our dogs also loved our holiday with the beach so close for walks. We would love to stay again one day.

Yvonne’s place was actually as described in the listing. I stayed there for a full month and it was a blessing. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. The bathroom was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The location was very quiet and perfectly situated beside many bus stops and shops. I would highly recommend this accommodation to a friend. Yvonne herself was a great host who was always responsive and friendly. Would definitely come back!!

Beautiful, peaceful location right on the river. Very easy check in and Wendy is responsive and easy to communicate with. Had a lovely few days at Airyes Inlet.

Well situated and surprisingly quiet for a central location. We spent most of our time down at the beach but the house had everything we needed.

Incredibly peaceful surrounds with rolling hills, pond with ducks and access to a tennis court and a basketball ring. The cottage is perfectly basic with a great selection of board games and a TV without Netflix/streaming. We enjoyed sunset on the back porch, games of tennis and the close proximity to beaches and wineries. Thank you Anastasia for sharing this slice of summer paradise

Our two visits 'bookended' a two week holiday in Tasmania, via Ferry rides with car. We very much appreciated being able to visit and stay at Christines accommodation.

Wayne is a great host. The property is within the Barrabool Maze Estate. We had access to the entire estate whilst there and our son had a fantastic time doing the maze a few times. There's also a variety of birds and a playground and lots of other things to see. A great cafe with great service and yummy food. The house itself is filled with beautiful art, knick knacks and very spacious. Clean rooms, has everything you need for a weekend stay and felt very private. Not too far from Geelong or surrounding towns. Recommend if you're ever wanting to stay somewhere not too far from a city but wanting quiet & relaxing surroundings.

Kate and Evan have a BEAUTIFUL property. They were extremely helpful and friendly upon checking in. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, peaceful and felt very warm and homey. We enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the animals and gardens. Most importantly the stay was dog friendly for our two golden retrievers. Their friendly Labrador Cesar was a great host and greeted us, showed us around the property and kept the Goldie’s good company. Highly recommend a stay at SoHo Estate!

Our group of 5 all equally enjoyed our stay at the Cottage - we found everything was just as described in the listing and the relative seclusion made us feel as if we were on holiday. We'll definitely stay here again.

We spent 6 nights at Phar Lap Tree Cottage and found it to be a relaxing, private , quiet and cosy place to stay. Kevin is a very thoughtful and caring host and welcomed us with chocolate Easter bunnies and a nice bottle of wine. There were also generous breakfast provisions. The queen size bed is probably the most comfortable one we've experienced on our airbnb stays. Looking out over the lovely garden, listening to the birds and watching the sunsets from the verandah was a special highlight. The cottage is in a great position for easy driving access to the Bellarine Peninsula and Great Ocean Road. We plan to stay at Phar Lap Tree Cottage again.
