House holiday rentals in Waimarino

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Had a great time at Gina's with the whole family. we used it as a base from which to do multiple day walks in the Tongariro National Park. The hot and cold pools got used everyday, the reclining couches were great and the beds very comfortable. Parking was good

We need to come back! Chris was such a great host and easy to communicate with. Really appreciate the flexibility with early check in as we arrived a bit early. The location was superb and got to use the bikes they provided to get to town, and had so much fun playing tennis before we check out. heated pool was our favourite. Thank you Chris 😁 would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Pukeatea Farm Stay! Julie is a lovely host, very friendly and helped us with all our queries promptly. Kids loved the pool & the garden. Would love to return if Julie would have us again! 10/10 would recommend! Was everything we expected and more.

Spacious but intimate at the same time. The pool & spa was a luxury. Te Whio Retreat will be among our favorite top 5 Air bnb places in the north island. The retreat offers a private home away from home close enough to everything in turangi. Beautifully presented warm home. Large master bedroom with enough space for our baby to run around in his walker while we got ready in the ensuit. x3 showers with great pressure and heat, all able to be used at the same time. The backyard was enough room for our adult husky, fencing was high and kept her well enclosed and private from view of strangers if they were to approach the property. This home is situated in the rear end of a shared driveway, allowing for maximum privacy from public view. the two neighbouring properties on both sides of Te whio are also Airbnb/holiday homes and we're empty during our time at Te whio, we didn't have to worry about our kids causing "too much noise" whilst they made the most of the pool & us the spa.

Debbie's house was perfect, it was cozy and has an amazing lounge and kitchen space. The bedrooms were big and comfortable too. There are a few food options in walkable distance from the house, highly recommend the bar down the road for drinks and food. There is also a four square a minute drive away from the house, where we were able to get some groceries and snacks. Getting to the sky waka was also around 20 mins from Debbie's place. So a very ideally located house to food and adventure. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The place was great, good location, great communication. There were no towels or sheets on the beds and the power was off on arrival which caused the freezer to be full of mould unfortunately. Besides this we really enjoyed our stay 🤗

A beautiful home with a great view of Ruapehu. Our family, a group of 6 adults felt really comfortable and warm. The fireplace and the heat pump kept us cosy. Plenty of chopped wood outside as well. The interiors were done amazingly and all cutleries and amenities were fully functional. Will definitely recommend, and will be keen to come back in the future.

Very nice place to stay for a weekend. Close to the mountain. Very tidy, warm, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend! Sam is very friendly and helpful.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at David’s place. It’s at a private location with amazing tranquility. We love the star nights there. It’s also close to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing carpark. Very convenient if you’re heading that way. David is also communicative and respective. He sent through the check-in information pack ahead of time and replied to the requests in timely manners. The place is also spotlessly clean and we felt it home there. Thank you for receiving us. All the best :)

Raylee’s home was truly exceptional. It was peaceful, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. The views of Mt Ruapehu were stunning, especially from the hot tub, and every detail in the home reflected care and comfort. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, the beds were luxuriously comfortable, and the space was spotless, warm, and welcoming. We loved the blend of modern convenience with nature’s beauty and the easy access to trails, town, and the mountain. Raylee was an outstanding host who was responsive, kind, and full of local insight. This was more than just accommodation. It was a deeply nourishing and restful experience. Every moment felt spacious and grounding and we left feeling so grateful. We would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely five stars in every way. Thank you Raylee for your aroha and generosity. Your place is a true gem.

Our 2nd time staying at Jason and Serena’s place. Felt right at home and comfortable. Also easy walk to the carrot park and restaurants. The property has everything you need. Will definitely stay again

Enjoyed our time here, well suited for our 3 generations of adults, Home was easy to keep very warm and cosy, with nice dry firewood, all had lovely comfortable beds. So close to Whakapapa and all the walks. We will be back.

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The host was extremely accommodating and even offered a flexible check-out time, which made my departure so much easier. The location was fantastic with plenty of great spots nearby. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring I had everything I needed. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in the area! Highly recommend!

This was a lovely place to stay and I'd definitely consider coming back another time. Very detailed instructions were left for almost everything you could want to know. The sauna and spa pool could fit all 6 of us pretty comfortably. The bedrooms could be a bit hot at times, but all windows had a mesh screen on them so you could open them without worrying about bugs getting in. The location was quite private as this yurt had only one neighbour. The only downsides were that the spa pool had a bit of a smell—I'm not sure if it needed more chlorine, but there were no instructions on how to do that. Overall, a very nice place to spend a few nights at and I wish I could be back there now

Lovely accomodation in a great location that was easy walking distance into town. We loved the hot tub and being able to light the fire to keep cosy. Super comfy bed and just everything we needed for our stay.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Your Space Taupo. The home is spacious and homely. It was clean and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed the spa and our kids loved playing tennis at the courts. We also loved walking around the lake. It is only a short drive into town to enjoy the cafes and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and thoughtful and overall we had a 5 star stay and have recommended it to our friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday

This is a great modern home with all the facilities for a summer or winter break. We really liked upstairs living space, that caught the sun and gave great views up to the mountain. There is easy walking distance to both town centre and Junction. Definitly a step-up from the old ski baches!
