Family-friendly holiday rentals in Waimanalo Beach

It's been a very pleasant stay at Young's place. Young is a very welcoming, friendly, responsive and helping host. Location of the apartment is super convenient, within walking distance to Waikiki beach, International Market mall, supermarkets, and bus stops which take you to many attractions. The apartment is well maintained, well equipped and clean, not to mention the beds are super comfortable, too! We would certainly stay again for our next trip to Hawaii. Mahalo~

Excellent location and great apartment! The space was updated and very clean. We especially appreciated all of the items available for use: beach chairs, kids beach toys, pack and play, cookware, knives and cutting board, etc. The closest beach is just a block away and perfect for small kids- it was shallow and had a sea wall to keep the stronger waves out. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this Airbnb is excellent, offering a really nice view. We appreciated the convenient access to nearby food trucks and bus stops, and the well-equipped kitchen. The soundproofing between units is kind of poor. We experienced disrupted sleep for a night due to noise from the neighboring unit.

We had an incredible stay the condo was amazing. We had an extended family vacation with 6 adults and 1 child. This is our second stay in the area, very peaceful the amenities were great loved the pools and lagoon. We were able to walk to the Four Seasons for the Stars Above Hawaii tour and the lagoon for a sunset cruise. They had 2 parking spots, which worked out great. They had games my 10 y/o loved playing Uno on the balcony for family game night . Hosts were very responsive. 10/10 !

The location was very favorable, within walking distance of the beach and a fantastic view from the apartment. The apartment is a bit small but it really had everything we needed. The communication with Eva went very well and neatly and she even offered us to be able to enter the apartment earlier which was very pleasant after a long flight. A very big plus was that the building is equipped with all kinds of extra conveniences, including a gym, swimming pool with hot tub and laundry room. The only thing that might be worth mentioning is that you have to be careful with children because it is on the 30th floor and the windows have no security. We had a very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed an extended stay for our honeymoon at Ewa’s place. Everything was great! Super responsive host, and we were even able to check in early. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, laundry, and parking space! Condo was clean and anything that we needed for our stay was provided for. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay that’s very close to the beach, walkable to multiple shopping malls and restaurants. Great stay in Hawaii and we would stay again

Great location, with beautiful view of diamond head and the beach. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Teddy's burgers in the lobby was a fantastic place to eat with great food.

Kenny was a great host for our stay. His instructions really helped in checking in. He also provided extra towels and beach stuff . we really loved the view from our bedroom. Would definitely come back next time .

I absolutely loved staying here! The space was perfect for me as I so enjoyed the balcony view of both Diamond Head and Waikīkī Beach. I would use this spot again if returning to Oahu!

I had a great stay at this studio apartment in Honolulu! The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, plus the ABC convenience store for any quick needs. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and had a large, comfortable bed which made it feel like home. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view. The sunrises and sunsets from the apartment were beautiful, and I especially loved enjoying them on the 10th-floor terrace, where I had dinner out there multiple times—what a great spot!. The zoo was directly across the street, which was perfect for a visit with my grandson. We also rented scooters just a minute away, making it easy to get around. As for the cons, there was some street noise due to the sliding glass door facing a busy street, but it quieted down in the evenings. My stay here added to my overall great visit to Hawaii.

Tiffany was an amazing host and provided a truly incredible space. A professional through and through. From her personable responses, helpful communication, and an extremely clean and welcoming living space, her place was better than advertised and felt like home. Made for a truly special experience! Highly recommend!

Loved staying here we had our 18 month old with us and it was the perfect amount of space and nice to have a small fridge/freezer to save on eating out every meal! Very clean upon arrival great location food trucks right across the street were our go to’s! Walkable distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We loved our stay and definitely will be back in the future!

This was my second stay at Shigeko’s place - this time for 2 weeks duration. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at some of the updates since my last stay. The listing photos should be updated as they don’t look as good as the apartment does in real life. The bed was super comfortable and everything was neat and clean. The only thing not working was one of the cooktop burners but I only used the cooktop once anyway to make noodles in a saucepan so it didn’t bother me as there was still one functional burner to use. I had an issue with logging in to the in-room wifi but I messaged Shigeko and she replied instantly and I was able to log in from then. Shigeko is always easily contactable and responds quickly, she’s lovely ☺️ The Waikiki Grand is in a great location which makes this an awesome place to stay, I definitely recommend!

Eva & Melo's room is a comfortable and lovely room no matter when you come. The room is remodeled every year, and the interior is upgraded every time you visit. The responses and handling of our inquiries were also very polite, which was wonderful. I will also rent Eua & Melo's room next time.
