Holiday rentals in Waimanalo Beach

Thomas’ rental was an amazing private retreat for me. The ocean front location is spectacular. Waking up to the sunrise, going to sleep with the tradewinds and crashing waves. It’s on a lava beach so it’s rocky but I discovered a swimmable beach 13 houses down where green turtles sometimes swim beside you. Gorgeous scenery and a peaceful, private location. The interior was immaculate and well cared for. After going to Whole Foods prior to my arrival, I didn’t leave the premises except to head down to the beaches!!! Highly recommend. I hope to spend a longer time there next time I’m back in Oahu.

We had such an amazing stay here! The location is amazing…just a short walk to the beach, which made it super easy to catch sunrise walks and sunset dips. The area felt peaceful and safe, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave great local tips, respected our privacy, and made sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like staying with friends. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back, beachy spot with warm, genuine hosts.

We had the best time at Barbara and Lionel's place!! They're both so friendly and make you feel right at home. They had beautiful flowers waiting for us with bagels and jam for breakfast. They also had fresh pineapple for us, which was delicious. The kitchen area is stocked with everything we needed, and they even provided filtered drinking water. The bathroom is very spacious and clean, and the neighborhood is so quiet. They're located within walking distance of Kailua Beach so we walked there often. They provide beach towels, which was so convenient, and also beach chairs. They're also walking distance to the center of town, where we found some great restaurants. This is really the perfect place to stay in Kailua. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back.

I was telling my boyfriend that you can always tell when a woman decorates and manages a space. This bnb is so cute, well thought out/decorated, and VERY clean. It’s a boho vibe with everything you need. And I mean EVERYthing. My boyfriend and I were so shocked with everything we kept finding - beach towels, bougie board, beach chair, a blender, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, wine glasses/wine stopper, mini packets of aloe vera in case you get sunburned. Literally little thoughtful things meant so much when we found them! Kaori was really friendly and super responsive. We had a little hiccup with check in and the key fob wasn’t in the lock, but Kaori provided me with her cell and her team was able to give us the keys within 5-10 minutes. We didn’t have a car, but you’re within walking distance to everything on Waikiki. I would definitely stay here again because of all the positives I mentioned, our amazing host, and the PRICE! :)

We greatly enjoyed our time in his house. We had fantastic sunsets on the lanai. It was very relaxing to spent the afternoon on the lanai and to watch and hear the sea. You can easily reach a small beach from the house, which we only did for some late afternoon walks. We went snorkeling at Shark‘s Cove and at Waimea Beach, we could see a lot of fishes and turtles, inside and outside of the water. The location of the house was very good for us, you can easily reach different beaches, go on a sea shore hike or visit Pearl Harbour. The house was ideal for the two of us. We wanted to relax at the sea and do a lot of snorkeling and swimming which we could do every day. Peter was very friendly and helpful.

The stay was nice and close to the beach.. they also have a roof balcony to sit on!

Was such an affordable and amazing way to spend our time in oahu! We are first time van campers and this trip seriously sparked something in us, a love and respect for the outdoors & even more for our Polynesian islands which we hold so dear. Mahalo family 🤍🤍

Sandra's place was warm and welcoming. The place felt larger than it was because of the design. Very clean full kitchen. spotless updated bath. Everything felt new. Great views! The lanai was a nice small spot for morning coffee. Walkable to all beaches and restaurants. The longest walk was 20 minutes to the farthest Waikiki beach. Sandra reached out ahead of time making sure I had all the instructions, and was fast to respond to my questions. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
